Re: Which of the current .45 suppressors fit my goals?
How about the dead air ghost or griffin revolution 45. I'm pretty happy with both of those. Or you could get the the sig mod x 45 though I have no personal experience with that. I think the sig is available. The ghost is modular easy to clean and not overly heavy. I believe people have also been pre...

Best recommendation is to do both.

I would say no and I would say that the TB cans have a very good reputation for precision shooting.

Re: Obsidian or Griffin Resolution 9 mm?
I just ordered a rugged obsidian 9. I picked it due to its length and weight. I plan on picking up a q erector 9 when they become available but figured the rugged would be fine till that happens.

Re: Best .22 suppressor for under the handguard?
I have a switchback, prodigy and sparrow that have never come loose on me. I don't run them under a handguard but that shouldn't change anything.

Re: Accuracy of integral suppressors
You could also get a magpul backpacker stock and the forward pic rail band that will let you mount a red dot to the barrel but wont require drilling holes in your suppressor that would likely void the warranty.

Re: Accuracy of integral suppressors
I have a few integrals and would say they shoot just as good as a normal barrel. Also the my brothers mist is just is as accurate as the standard barrel that it replaced.

Re: 9mm host pistol recommendations
You should be able to pick up a used Sig for the same or less than a striker fired gun. Also have to get a threaded barrel most likely so add another $100 to $300 depending on what you go for. I don't usually buy used guns unless they are something old and out of production, or from a trusted perso...

I tried the teflon tape and it was useless. Just check the can every now and again.

Re: AAC 51t style devices
looks like I have four total all 5/8x24. Two are the muzzle brakes and one is the brakeout 2.0 and one of the flash hider mounts. Let me know if you are interested and we'll see about a price. You'd have to get your own shims for the brakes but that shouldn't be very much.

Re: AAC 51t style devices
Its true that the 51t isn't the best qd mount out there I've had my 762sdn6 for about 8 years now and I just let my friends use it now. Sadly its hard to find alot of suppressor parts right now. I'll see if I have any of the mounts laying around. I think I have brakeout 2.0 in 5/8x24 and maye a 1/2x...

Re: 9mm host pistol recommendations
I've shot with glocks, sig 229's and hk 45 host pistols and didn't notice that one was quieter than another. I do keep hearing that the sig is a good suppressor host though I'm not sure why.

Re: Effectiveness over multiple calibers? Supersonic?
You're better off just buying a rimfire dedicated can there are a bunch of good ones and they are fairly inexpensive and you can clean them deadair mask, Sico switchback etc. Based on the questions you asked you are probably best off buying a 30cal can like a deadair sandman or nomad or something al...

Re: Integrally Suppressed vs Detachable Can
Most integral silencers simply unscrew and arent permanently attached. For a suppressor to be integral part of it is part of the barrel and not removable either the baffles or the shield. If you can remove both then that isn't integral. MP5SD begs to differ That is true. I was more going on what th...

Re: Integrally Suppressed vs Detachable Can
Most integral silencers can be removed I dont think thats an accurate statement. If its just a pinned and welded can I guess you could remove it but it would dick the can up. Most integral silencers simply unscrew and arent permanently attached. For a suppressor to be integral part of it is part of...

Re: Integrally Suppressed vs Detachable Can
Integrals are cool but I wouldn't recommend it until you have a few other cans to cover your rifle, pistol and rimfire needs. Once you have those bases covered I say go nuts I have a couple integral 300 blackouts and they are nice plus I'm waiting on a Sico maxim 9 might get a second one of those if...

I just bought a daniel defense mfr xl for a 458 socom I'm putting together. Its a nice rail it came on my dd isr gen 2 and I like it. The down side is its like $270 but you only need to buy it once per rifle.

Re: 300 Blackout Integral Comparisons
thanks I was curious about that. I have a sako 85 classic in 30-06 that I think would be pretty cool to have done. We build an awesome bolt action integral. You can pick your initial barrel length then just add 8" for the baffles. We can use anything from a Green Mountain up to Krieger or Bart...
