You can also sandwich red hot item (the hotter the better) between two pieces of dry ice. Don't take my word for it, try it. Fast cool and you get migration of C into the metal.

If two silencers were able to screw together, then voila, no extra parts. Hence, leave a threaded section on front of your DIY so it can screw into the back of any other that would fit the barrel , if that's what you wanted.

This was talked about in the past. Fed's can argue the "how easy" part. Is it legal if I can break the pinning in 30sec flat and remove the item? Is a micro tack using laser good enough?

Drop the red-hot item into seltzer water and voila, the item will suck in carbon.
