Re: SBR a scar 17s
You might wanna give the guys at AAC a call to make sure there isnt a pressure problem with going that short on the barrel for that can. I know you can use it on a 16 inch barrel but a 10.5 might be kinda nuts.

Re: M4-2000 Blackout mount on stg556 Pics questions
When I put the mount on mine it bottomed out on the treads before the muzzle contacted the inside shoulder in the mount. This caused it to not be centered properly which would cause a baffle strike. I ended up flattening out the muzzle with a file slightly and using a small fine file to add one mor...

This is the old 762 and m41000 18 tooth mount but this its only for a .556 because of the size of the hole.

Anyone need a used m4-1000 18T mount
SPF Anyone need a used m4-1000 18T mount. Ive had this sitting in a drawer for a few years. It has some obvious wear on it. The inside has a kind of chalky green on it. There was some of this on the outside as well. It wiped away with an anti rust rag fairly easily. I think this might of been form ...

M4-2000 Blackout mount on stg556 Pics questions
So I toke the standard FH off the stg556. But the threads are very long. To the point where I want to get a second opinion on it before using the rockset on the new mount. Take a look at these pics. Is this spacing ok? It never butts up against a flat surface like all my other mounts, cans have. How...

Thats funny I just passed on a 308 setup that I love simply because I wanted 24x over the 14x that came on that rifle.

Anyone have a spot with a good deal? Most places online seem to keep it at the 999 retail.
Thanks

Re: M4-2000 black out mount on the STG556
Thanks for this. These are the instructions microtech gave me via emial.: Look first at your flashhider- right behind it you may or may not have a silver ring. If you have that silver ring, your barrel has the 13x1.0mmLH threads. If you have no such ring nor groove for one, your barrel has the 1/2-2...

M4-2000 black out mount on the STG556
I have the stg556. I am told that it uses the standard aug pitch (13 x1 lh)on the barrel for the flash hider. I notice that AAC now offers the blackout 51 tooth adapter in this thread pitch. http://www.advanced-armament.com/product.aspx?pid=493 Am I to understand that I cn simply remove the factory ...

Looking at getting a nice long range rifle. Anyone looking to move a nice set up? I'll consider any package suppressed or not, adapter or not. LMK what ya got. Figured I might as well check before I go buy new. I'm open to looking at anything from .308 to something that will reach out to 1,000 yards...

question about the evo-9 rear cap
Ok so I havent used my tri lug in maybe a year. So I am preparing my stuff for tomorrow and I can not seem to unscrew the rear cap of the ASP with the 2 prong tool. This is standard threading right not reverse threaded? I have been at it for an hour and I dont know what else to do.

*****BOTH SOLD ****** FN FS2000 Monolith Arms Front Grips
So here is the deal. I have just 2 of these. Both have been used on the weapon. Very limited in use. I would say the V1 had maybe 80 rounds shot while it was on and the v2 had another 40. The main differences other than look are the bottom rail is metal on the v2 and polymer on the v1. The side rail...
