I'm curious if anyone knows what the black byproduct of the dip is. I believe that the lead acetate is kept in solution, but what are the black particulates that fall to the bottom of the solution?
My best guess is just carbon that was attached to the lead in the can.

I second the Liberty Mystic. I just started casting lead 300 blk so a tough take apart can is a must.

Re: Silencers, blowbacks,and bolt mass.
When it comes to blowback AR's most of the noise comes from the action sounds. A regular bolt/buffer spring makes a good bit of tangy noise, it actually makes my right ear ring a little bit. The JP bolt/silent buffer removed a small amount of that noise but honestly it's tough to get away from that...

Liberty Suppressors- Great Warranty
Sent my Mystic in to get it looked at due to a couple of baffle strikes. Sent it out last week with my booster and M9A3 barrel to have it all checked out, got it all back today, one week turnaround. Looks like a new core, got a new booster (the new style too! ooh ooh) and was told that the Beretta b...

Your dealer still have the K?Kramer wrote:I had my dealer order the HD, but they sent him a K and he offered me a better deal to get rid of it. When I saw on silencerco's website that the HD was quieter than the K by 7db I had him get the HD.

Re: Grease for booster?
Liberty suggest using a Moly based grease- https://libertycans.net/education/instructions/ (point 3 under the first drop down).
I've been using this- http://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tech-Mo ... z/16928003 and it works fine.

Re: Choosing a 22lr pistol for suppressor
To be honest I've only used the Mystic on my Glock and my Buckmark. I recently got a Spectre 2 so that has taken it's rightful place as my resident .22 can. I will tell you that the P22 that I have is a jam fest. Whether it's ammo or mag related I'm not sure (I've been using Federal Auto Match). Fro...

Re: Choosing a 22lr pistol for suppressor
I have a Buckmark. It's a great pistol, the stock trigger is phenomenal and it feeds anything I put in it, plus it's super easy to maintain. Here's a video I did with my Buckmark and my Mystic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUSsyVoaCRc&t=4m20s . I'd rather shoot my Spectre 2 on my Buckmark but ...

Re: WTB Gemtech 3-Lug or AAC Triad Mount
I use a Gemtech multimout three lug with no issue. The mystic uses multimount adapters. I think bender meant the SWR trident mounts or octane, I'm not sure on those thread specs I actually meant what I said. Mystic thread specs are different from the Trident, Octane, Multimount etc.... I am not pos...

Re: WTB Gemtech 3-Lug or AAC Triad Mount
In need of a 3 lug adapter for my Mystic so either the Gemtech or the AAC Triad should work. If anyone has one sitting around let me know a price and I'll take it off your hands. GemTech is the wrong thread spec and the Triad won't fit, its way to small. We are working on a run of 3 lug mounts spec...
