Form 5320.20 Address Change / Timeline Questions AKA: Silly ex bf drama

This chick's SBR was assembled under her trust's address at the time (where she lived) which we will call address A. She needs to file a 5320.20 for two reasons: 1) She no longer lives at that address and wants to file a permanent address change. 2) She will be going out of state in 2 months for NV ...

Re: AAC 51T Flash Hider Shenanigans - Impossible to find "Standard Socket"

MidwayUSA has the standard sockets and have had them on hand for months. Awesome. Got a link so I can get them in the future? Today I returned via USPS the Deep Socket that was delivered to me just yesterday by them. I called Midway, and they had no idea what I was talking about. I also looked thro...

Re: AAC 51T Flash Hider Shenanigans - Impossible to find "Standard Socket"

Okay, when I made this thread I saw it on PA and it was out of stock. Thanks for the post, as I ordered one yesterday and had it overnighted. Great CS by Primary arms. As far as everything else, it still stands. These are difficult to find and aside from PA I can't find any retailers that sell it. T...

AAC 51T Flash Hider Shenanigans - Impossible to find "Standard Socket"

I have a Remington 700 AAC-SD and an AAC 762SD with no way of putting them together. The barrel is almost 0.900" in diameter behind the threads. I have purchased two AAC 51T Flash Hiders in 5/8x24 in the last two weeks from two separate online retailers and both are the "Deep Socket" ...

Re: Savage MkII FVSR Gap between AAC Pilot 2 and shoulder of barrel

I looked at the AAC thread specs and this is within range at .465" The issue was that I have over 5,000 rounds through this can on a Walther P22 which has .400" threads. This caused a buildup of carbon on the last .065" of threads inside the suppressor. I used some CLP and a brass bru...

Savage MkII FVSR Gap between AAC Pilot 2 and shoulder of barrel

I googled this and found many threads on the subject both here and elsewhere, but most of them were almost 4 years old and involved suppressors from other manufacturers. Those cans had O-rings. I have about a 0.065" gap (threads end 0.500" from shoulder of barrel) between my Pilot 2 and th...

Re: New customer service at AAC

UPS is supposed to deliver today. It's at my local hub and apparently there is an exception.

Why does the universe keep delaying my 300BLK life?

Do you guys ship these in discreet boxes or does it have the AaC upper on the side?

Re: New customer service at AAC

Wow. Didn't think you guys (or any gun manuacturer) were that busy given the summer slump that usually occurs, and a big Republican election win. No worries though.

If I ordered a 9" upper last week would you have an ETA on shipping? This week? Next? Just trying to plan a range trip.

Octane 9 - wet or dry?

This is my first centerfire pistol can, and I see a lot of people run their pistol cans wet.

Is this necessary? How much sound reduction do you gain from running an Octane 9 HD2 wet? Does it make the inside of the suppressor or host any dirtier?

Re: Apply now or wait for e-file to restart?

You should most definitely wait. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZFLQnQGhmo I have a buddy, who when I sent my first Forms in June of 2011, said this exact same thing at the time and continues to say "I'd love a supressor, I just can't see myself having money tied up for so long." Suits ...

Re: New customer service at AAC

I ordered an upper last week and it has yet to ship. I ordered on the same day from several other retailers and I've already got my items. Website says 48 hours.

Are you guys a little behind because of the holiday?
