Re: If you want to be combat arms...just do it!

Regarding the SEALs...these days it seems like the trident comes with a blog, at least one book deal, twitter and instagram accounts, maybe a movie, a gig as an "NRA spokesperson", a youtube channel, writer for RECOIL, and a "Tactical" school offering "Elite NAVY SEAL TRAINI...

How to sell something in Texas

1. Put "Tactical" or "Tier 1" in the title. Could be a coffee cup, diaper bag, jammies...doesn't matter. 2. Put "Molon Labia" on it or whatever the hell it is. 3. If practical(Or not) include anodized aluminum, tool steel, or titanium and make it angular or pointy. 3. A...

Nah, I'm fine with the one I got. Was prolly gonna pick one up at some point anyways. I'll just get a different 556 end cap and keep this one.

I recently picked up a saker 762, (which is great) and didn't receive a pouch. I had heard that they discontinued the MOLLE pouches and were including a bag of some sort, but I was hoping I had bought mine early enough that I would still get a MOLLE pouch. I emailed silencerco asking if there was an...

THANK YOU SO FUCKIN MUCH!! That was all I wanted. So I guess being able to fit an entire round thru it means it ain't no 556 end cap.

Saker end cap question

I just picked up my saker 762 today. I have what I thought was a 556 flash hider end cap that I bought at a local shop. Well, the hole in the 556 FH end cap is the same size as the hole in the standard 762 end cap that came with the saker. I think I somehow got a 762 FH end cap, even though it says ...

Re: If you want to be combat arms...just do it!

During Basic Training in the AF I tried out for Combat Controllers. Run 1.5 miles as fast as you can THEN swim 20 laps in an Olympic size pool with everybody else and then basic timed pull-up sit ups, and other things like that. I ran, then was toast. I made one lap in 5ft waves in the pool and cou...

Re: If you want to be combat arms...just do it!

Eh, I joined the Infantry in 2005, and got out Christmas Eve of last year. 9 years was enough for me. I'm tired of all the support and reserve/guard guys talking like they single handedly won the war, when it seems so simple to just do it instead of lying or carrying yourself like the warrior elite....

Re: If you want to be combat arms...just do it!

I stand behind my original rant. If you're support and you like it, good. Just don't act like you're a door kickin', snake eatin killer. Know your job and be proud of YOUR JOB. And if you want to pony up and get dirty....do it. If you want the scars and the suffering, go get you some. Don't sit at y...

Re: If you want to be combat arms...just do it!

I'm going to seem like a giant ASS but I'm sick of people in support MOSs buying all sorts of high speed velcro laden "tactical" clothing and talking nonstop about how "hardcore" their deployments were. Also adorning said clothing with every Infantry division or SOF unit patch t...

Re: Brakes/hider on the endcap?

the brake on my harvester really does reduce recoil but makes it a tad louder to the shooter. the flash hider on my saker really shines on shorter barrels due to excess unburnt gas. my sbr would spit fire whereas my carbines wouldn't. Excellent, pretty much what I was thinking on the sbr thing. Tha...

Brakes/hider on the endcap?

Sooo, 1. People with harvesters...do you think the brake on the end of the can actually does anything? 2. People with sakers...has anyone done any testing on the flash hider end caps? Do they help? I bought a 5.56 FH end cap for my 7.62 saker, mostly because I thought it would be a little mental fla...

Re: New to the forum with a saker question.

Since you mentioned it, is there a way to attach the muzzle devices so that a torch would not be required to take them off but they would still be secure? I have maad trifecta hiders/brakes on two of my rifles in anticipation. But thought perhaps i would like to be able to use a specwar as well. So...

Re: New to the forum with a saker question.

the anchor brake is what the is on the end of the Harvester series of silencers. I don't know if they have decided to go with this style or a traditional style brake because there was no picture on the website. This maybe the reason that they removed the brake end cap from their website. I was talk...

New to the forum with a saker question.

hi, I just joined the forum and would like to say hello. I'm currently waiting on my first personally owned can, a saker 7.62. My check was cashed on 11/26. I've been digging around looking for as much as I can find about it, I think I've watched every video on youtube about it at least a few dozen ...
