Re: Looking for a recore
Thanks for the replies. I went and contacted Curtis Tactical and Joe will be doing the recore. As far as recoring myself, that's a whole lotta nope. I value my freedom and do not wish to have my s--t pushed in..... I know all the DIY options out there and would only go that route again if starting a...

Question from the gurus on lathes
So I am looking to get a small lathe to attempt to make cones and spacers AND possibly a tube for my 2nd form 1 can and would like some info from those who have lathe experience. I am looking at either of these lathes right now as I am on a budget and don't see turning anything larger than these can...

Re: Opinions on plan
Reflex means it slips back over the barrel. What you have is not a reflex, as the entire length of the can is added to the muzzle of the host weapon. The 'barrel extension' inside the can will not help sound reduction. If you remove the barrel extension and add more baffles in its place you will im...

Re: Opinions on plan
Every reflex can I've heard seems quieter than a non reflex design. Just in the planning stages now so nothing is certain yet.

Opinions on plan
So I finally got my approved Form 1 back and have started planning my build. I know a reflex can is supposed to slip over the barrel to make it overall shorter but I want to use this on a couple different rifles so I had a thought about the can being an all-in-one reflex unit. Jist is it will be bui...

Cant seem to find information
I saw it and lost it and Googlefu is not helping. What part of the trust documentation needs to be filed with the Eform 1?
Don't want to submit more than I need to.
Thanks for any help

Re: New here and getting ready to Form 1. Questions
I'm in Glendale/ N Phoenix. OK. So another thought I've been having. Right now my blk is a pistol. If I were to make a tube out of stainless and pin and weld that to the barrel for a total over 16", could I then make a core that threads into it? this way it can be removed for cleaning or what n...

Re: New here and getting ready to Form 1. Questions
Would the type of tube material have an effect on performance or does it all depend on baffle type and spacing?

New here and getting ready to Form 1. Questions
New guy here from AZ. Built a 8.5" barreled 300blk upper in hopes to eventually get a can. I have decided to Form 1 one and build it myself and have a question. I would like to keep the overall length down to around 16" total with barrel and can. With such a short barrel will 6" to 7 ...
