Re: Need some help with a Vector and picking a new can

I hope you don't have the same trouble with your .45 Vector as I do with my 9mm Vector SBR (far too many feed failures). None so far shot a couple hundred rounds of wolf, tula, magtech and hst's through mine with a tirant 45. Really couldnt ask for any more it was perfect. I hate to revive this pos...

Yeah, it's me. Thanks, much appreciated. My blast shield has seen a thousand more rounds since I posted about it here originally and I couldn't be happier with it.

Re: hey everyone , who has tirant 9

I like mine, but I do get significant POI shift to the right on my MP5 (direct thread, not 3 lug), and my Kel-tec sub2k. Well built, easy to disassemble.

Re: 762 SD Questions

First, anything is possible with time and money. Second, as far as direct thread, I suppose you (if you are legally authorized to do so) could make that happen with a welder and a 51t flash hider. Regarding conversion to 90T, I think that's a non starter, again, unless you find someone authorized to...

Re: MAAD Blast Shield

I picked one up too. I've put a few hundred rounds through it while shooting with a buddy. My host was 11.5" registered 5.56 SBR with SiCo three chamber brake. I normally run suppressed, but buddy doesn't own/run cans, so I decided to run blast shield. My first three shots were without the shie...

Suppressors in pop culture

Do you think that Hollywood depiction of silencers (pew, pew) really hurts a push to take them off the NFA registry, making them like any other title 1 weapon? I write novels, and try to depict silencers as they really are and I'm also trying to start a group among fellow writers to do the same. Ult...

You're incredulous?! Imagine how I feel! Sorry, just couldn't resist teasing a new guy. There is a 'search' function for the forum, so if in doubt at any time about whether a subject has been brought up and discussed previously it can be useful to seek it out. But no harm, this is a silly thread an...

Re: Sparrow vs Element 2

I use my Element 2 primarily on a Ruger 10/22 takedown rifle. I store it broken down in a dark blue LaRue covert rifle case with a Leica patch on the front. Been looking for a some sort of clarinet patch so I can put that on instead to give the impression that it's a musical instrument. Anyway, back...

Re: Can anyone buy just one can?

My most recent Form 4 took 76 days from the time the ATF cashed the check until the stamp was at my SOT. I have five cans. You can't stop with one because .22 is so much fun, and then what about 5.56, and pistol? Let's not forget subsonic 300 BLK, etc., etc. Therein is the problem with the can addic...

Future proofing your cans

Besides just buying direct thread only, what are your thoughts on future proofing your QD cans? I purchased several extra brakes/comps to handle this issue. As my NFA items are in a trust, they'll likely be passed down to the next generation or two. What are the chances that a specific 2015 QD mount...
