Re: Removing SBR from NFA registry correctly?
I had a form 1 (F1) approved for an SBR upper that I was going to purchase, then changed my mind. I got the approved / stamped F1 and called my examiner. He said to send in the approved F1 with a letter requesting to cancel the NFA status of the lower. I got the canceled F1 back and several weeks la...

Re: Anyone been to Guam ?
Loved to pull in to Guam. Exchange rate is still one to one I believe. http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/smiley_bucktooth.gif Great facilities, lots of stuff to do, it's what he makes of it. Around those parts, every month of the year is typhoon season, and Guam is a storm magnet. It's like buildin...

Just because your state legalizes it it's still against federal law and you would either lie or fail a federal bg check.YugoRPK wrote:You'd be surprised.
You still haven't backed up your argument with those pesky little fact things. How is smoking pot going to hurt your background check?

Re: Would you smoke Marijuana if it were legal ?
Background checks? Why would you get dinged on a background check unless you did something illegal and smoking pot were legal in your state there wouldnt be a problem. Besides that background checks are for government jobs. You said "Good Jobs" . Good job background checks in the private ...

Re: Would you smoke Marijuana if it were legal ?
Why would you be throwing away your chances at a good job down the line if it were legal to possess and smoke it ( or eat ) ? Just the jobs that require background checks, 7 years, 10 years. If you want to burn those bridges, go for it. This isn't russia. Is this russia? This isn't russia. Also, li...

Re: Thread protector won't stay on
Take it off. I don't see a need for pistol thread protectors, especially when shooting, so I don't have any. Some are so poorly designed that they actually touch and mar the crown. I carry loose threaded barrels in the two piece hard plastic barrel cases that Lone Wolf sends them in. When transporti...

U.S. Navy 25 years. But aren't we getting off topic here? I'm not about to post my bio on the net. Prudential SGLI practices: bad. They may not be illegal, but they are unethical, wrong, don't stand the light of day and they are changing them.Blaubart wrote:I was in the Army for eleven years.
