I would suppose it could, but, a rimfire (22lr) is going to be very dirty, alot of lead residue, and you can't "disassemble" most center fire cans to clean it.
Also, because of the size of the bore, you may not get much suppression with a 30 cal can on 22lr.

Re: Launched my SilencerCo Omega300 - Repair?
Call Silencerco, tell them the problem, they will send you a return label, send the can to them, in about 3 weeks you will receive a good as new, repaired, suppressor.
That's what you do, at least with Silencerco.

Re: Saker 7.62 ASR or Specwar 7.62?
Just as an aside, Even though Silencerco doesn't sell the specwar anymore, they do still support it. About 3 weeks ago, I pulled a bonehead and didn't get my specwar tightened on my mount. Yep, first shot, 25 yards down the range. It had several baffle strikes and a extra big hole in the endcap.I se...

Re: Remove rifle from sbr status
I did just that with an SBS I decided I didn't want to shorten.
I sent a letter to the NFA branch of ATF with a with a copy of the form 1, asking for it to be removed from the registry as I decided not the shorten it.
I got a reply in 2 weeeks saying it had been removed.

I have a hybrid in jail, can you give some details? do you have other cans to compare it to? Anything you don't like about it? I bought mine to use on a 9mm ar, 300blk, and a swd m11 smg. Also considering a ruger American in 450 bushmaster. I have 2 hybrids and have used them on the following... 9m...

Re: My 4 year battle with AAC to fix a defective suppressor...
I have 5 Silencerco cans.
I have had to send 2 back for problems of my doing.
They repaird and returned them within 2 weeks, everytime.
This is why I will not buy a suppressor from anyone but Silencerco.
Customer service, customer service, customer service!!!!!!!!!!!

NO.
They gave cancelled the deal.
If you read the reviews on the ad you will find that a BIG mistake was made and they are not happy about it.

Re: Suppressor dilemma
I, too, bought a SW 762 as my first suppressor.
It was everything I wanted , at the time.
Since then, I have purchased 2 hybrids, 2 omegas, and s SW 556.
The one that I like best now, is the omega.
It is every bit as good as the SW 762, only shorter and lighter.
You won't go wrong with the omega.

Re: I got a NFA application refund check today.......
Unfortunately, no updates. I have tried contacting the "former" gunshots as they said the were maintaining an "online" presence, but so far nothing. Per the ATF, my only option is to demand a refund. But to do that, I have to be able to contact them. Short of legal action, I may ...

Re: I got a NFA application refund check today.......
Talked to Scott Robertson at ATF regarding this refund.
He says it was for a form 4 filed for me and that the "application was withdrawn" but had no other information.
So, now I'm pissed and am trying to contact the vendor I bought it from to get their side of the story.

but I have no idea what it was for. I have 5 form 4s and 2 form 1s in process now, all submitted prior to the July 13 deadline. Any ideas on how to find out what this refund us for? Re: 5 months door to door
I don'the think the wave will crest anytime soon. With the rush to get filed before July 13th, any form 4's filed in June or July, don't expect anything before the end of the year, at best. Good news us, that they will be working to get them processed as soon as they can. Patience will be a virtue f...

Yes, you should fine. The ATF has said that anything post marked 7/12 or before, will be examined under the old rules, even if it didn'the get delivered until after the 13th.
That's what they have written. We'll see if that's what happens.

Yeah, I have a form 1 sbr that I submitted in mid February also. Just be patient, it will show up soon. I have done 4 form 1 sbr's and 6 form 4 suppressors in the last year and a half. The wait doesn't get any easier, it just seems to go by quicker. But that 1st one is a real pisser of a wait. Don't...

Not meaning to resurect an old thread, but, I just had a conversation with my gun trust lawyer about this exact question. My lawyer told me this, very specifically... 1. You do NOT have to send a schedule A along with your trust when you file a form 4. As a matter of fact, the ATF would rather you d...

Thank you for putting this event together.
I had a great time meeting some of you and playing with the toys.
I didn't win anything in the raffle, but, found a couple of new suppressors that I may have to add to my collection.
A very nice time was had.
Again, thank you.

Re: 9mm subgun suppressors - what's good these days?
I have an Omega 9k that I use on my 300blk sbr. It is very quiet, with a low tone that sounds sweet. I don't have, yet, a 9mm to run it on, but I did borrow a friend's Scorpion and put the 9k on it. It is, to my ears, stupid quiet with the nice sounding low tone. I will be looking to buy a 9mm rifle...

Cleaning a Specwar 762........
I have been shooting my Specwar 762 quite a bit lately on my 300blk rifles and I have noticed that it is getting pretty dirty.
Is there any need to clean it and if so, how is the best way to do that?
I can run my finger around the inside of the mount and it comes away very dirty.
Thanks.
