Re: How to cycle subs in AR-10
I'll chime in since no one has. The short answer is, you don't. Supers only when we're talking .308. If you want subs, then small-frame AR and 300 Blackout is the answer. AR-10s are finicky and even full power suppressed can be a bit touchy at times. Subsonic, it just isn't going to happen. On top o...

Re: Dead Air Odessa-9
I've shot it a decent amount... but it's not really in public hands yet. I absolutely hate this "test with HUSH" nonsense. It's garbage ammo. In the full length configuration, it's quiet at the muzzle. When it drops in size, it gets loud fast. There's no ultra short configuration that soun...

Re: Omega 9k vs osprey 45 for first can, big audible diffrence??
There's a lot going on in this post. The Omega 9k is 9mm and 300 Blackout only. The Osprey 45 is a pistol can (9-45) that can also handle 300 blackout subs. The Omega 9K isn't rated for 7.62x39, and that's not something I would recommend at all. 300 Blackout, you would really want a centerfire rifle...

You can use an AR armorer's wrench for the Wolf (and Ghost). Pretend it's a castle nut and you're good to go.

Can it and should it are two different things. If you shot it through a Mask, it probably won't explode on the first shot and it probably won't be quiet. I've shot 308 through a Ghost, and it didn't explode nor was it quiet. It warped a few of the baffles a bit. (Don't do that at home, I'm not sayin...

Not a can for me... The history of OSS seems to be "LOOK AT THIS AWESOME NEW THING!" "They aren't really impressive." "Yeah, but that was the LAST generation. The new generation is going to blow you away!" Rinse and repeat. I saw one catastrophically fail after about 4 ...

The STAMP came back? If so, the ATF gave you the green light. Just go on as normal.
Or did the 2320.04 come back with a correction letter?
Two very different circumstances.

Re: Thread selection and attachment of Suppressor
You can't buy Glock factory threaded barrels without the gun. They are out there but are FROM guns. There may be a few old leftover ones for sale in places, but it's NOT easy to come by. I prefer M13 because most of my 9mm handguns are factory threaded Sigs, followed by Glock. So it doesn't make any...

Re: Form 4 Trust wait time.
We're no where near over the pre-41F hump. Our June sales KILLED Jan-May. No contest. The first two weeks of July killed June sales.
Two weeks of July could easily be as long as June-May, and possibly more. All depends on how fast the ATF is.

Re: 8th week of Form 3 and STILL waiting!!!! WTF???
It happens... the problem with the NFA waiting game is that you can say there's an average of 6-8 weeks, but you may have one or two randomly that take 20 weeks.
It doesn't make any sense, and the ATF may or may not be helpful to get things moving faster.

Re: Sights Mounted on Pistol Silencers Themselves?
It seems like a solution to a non existent "problem with the firearm". It's more of a problem (and that's a strong word, probably not the correct one) with the shooter. Let me start by saying to really shoot any firearm well, you have to know the gun and know the sight. There are very minu...

Re: What are the absolute quietest 5.56 and 30 cal cans?
Generally speaking, "quietest" is not really a good criteria for buying cans. There are cans out there that on a computer are more quiet than others... so according to science you can measure it. That being said, this doesn't transition to what the shooter hears. People "hear" so...

Re: How many .22 shots through a .30 suppressor?
It's lead that's an issue, rifle calibers won't blow that out. It adds a little, then a little more, then more, until you end up with a can full of lead that is not only heavier, but performance is ruined. How fast is going to probably be ammo dependent, but it will ruin it eventually. Probably at s...

Re: SilencerCo Omega vs. Sig SRD 7.62TI QD.
Aside from mounting options...
The Sig will be a bit more quiet, but is larger.
The Omega will be slightly louder (and SLIGHTLY emphasized) but shorter.
Both are great choices.

They're fantastic. I run my Ghost primarily on my 320, but sometimes 226.
It gets some use on my MPX, and gets some full auto love on an M11.

Re: MPX silencer options?
I run a Omega9K on my MPX, and also a Ghost-M. Ghost-M has M13.5x1 fixed mounts out, so you can use that in the short configuration and still get a small can on there that sounds good, and could also be used on a 45 if you wanted. Use caution with a 3 lug on the MPX, long story short I've seen a guy...

I was going to say your barrel probably didn't get along with the previous ammo that well, and the suppressor changed harmonics to put it closer to the sweet spot.

Re: Sandman Ti opnions
I don't think you'll find the Sandman-Ti is louder--- it's about as good as it gets. Really, with that can and a few others you get into arguments over a dB or so differences in testing. It's a bit of a tough call. I own 2 P320s-- one carry and one carry tacops. They really are the same gun, one jus...

Re: noob question about pistons from silencerco
Sig, HK, Glock (EU guns) are metric from the factory. American guns (and aftermarket barrels made in america) are usually standard. There's some exceptions, like P220 and FNX are .578 instead of m16, and MK23s want to be a special snowflake. Generally speaking, 1/2x28 is domestic 9mm 13.5LH is Europ...

It's fantastic. On my 308 precision rig I run a Sandman-Ti, and on my 6.5 Creedmoor a Sandman-L. The Ti is a fantastic can... as far as dB reduction goes, it's at the top. Accuracy, the can isn't going to degrade it at all... the only thing you have to take into consideration is your harmonics will ...

Just SilencerCo- Omega, Specwar, Hybrid, Harvester Big Bore, or Saker series if you get the ASR MAAD mount.
No other brands will work with the ASR system.

Problem solved. 1/2x20 is found on some European stuff, as stated above. Adapters are fairly easy to get. Why a smith threaded it to x20 though... that is mighty odd.
