Weighs about the same as the 300-TM, but is shorter and way more durable (full stellite baffle stack).

This is exactly what I was gonna say. And I own a Omega

Suppressing a 25-06

About to get my Remington 700 barrel threaded. I will probably shoot it suppressed most of the time. I was wondering what length should I have the barrel cut to. I don't mind losing a few fps for a more compact rifle with a can but I dont want to mess up any barrel harmonics or accuracy. Any input?

Re: Liberty Regulator

On the video, I'm not sure. Hopefully we can get something short and sweet for the Regulator and Mask 22 here soon. I do have some numbers though from playing with ours a couple weeks ago. On a Ruger 22/45 LITE. 1) 114.7 2) 110.7 3) 111.9 4) 112.2 5) 111.8 6) 112.0 AVG excluding FRP - 111.7 Just fo...

Re: Omega 7.62 vs AAC SDN-6

Definitely go with the Omega. It is the perfect 300 BO can. It has the SDN-6 beat in every category except durability. But Silencerco has the best CS and AAC's is going downhill.

Re: Specwar 762 vs Omega

SilencerCo's Warranty is superb. I'm sure you've found more than enough proof of that online. Specwar 762: It is heavier than the Omega but I honestly don't notice when I switch between it, my saker 762, or harvester 30. (not bench resting either) Bottom line: it's heavier on paper & sounds ama...

Re: SDN6 or Omega?

I'll definitely keep all this in mind. Right now it looks like the omega is inching out. But now I have one more question. Some of you have mentioned durability and how the omega isn't as durable as other cans... How are you measuring this and what could I realistically expect for the omega shootin...

Re: SDN6 or Omega?

I own a SDN6 and a 9" MPW. I would go Omega all day and twice on Sunday. The SDN is a beast of a can and with that comes a lot of weight. The SDN comes in at 20oz with the Omega only being 14oz. That's a big difference. Two exceptions; if you shoot full auto or if you already have AAC cans and...

That is the whole point of it so that it does fit. It a adapter so the Mystic will work with most QD systems

Re: Storm lake threaded barrel concerns

I can't really help regarding from experience but I would doubt a correctly threaded barrel would chip. I do however have experience with Storm Lake and it has not been good. I went thru 2 incorrectly cut barrels and still waiting on a correct one nearly 3 months after purchase. I think Storm Lakes ...

Re: Expensive Mistake

I have a very bad and long story regarding Storm Lake that still hasnt been fixed almost 3 months. I have been thru 2 barrels and they told me they had a bad batch of barrels for the XD tactical 9mm. Liberty on the other hand has top notch CS and will replace it if is there fault but I doubt the err...

Re: Specwar or Saker

The saker MAAD mount can be tightened down with one hand and you would not have to remove the handguard. The specwar and omega asr mount has a lock ring that has be tightened near the back. This would require the handguard to be removed

Re: Sparrow vs Element 2

I am gonna go with the Sparrow cause of the ease of cleaning plus I only own 22 rifles right now so the FRP will not be a issue. Once I buy a pistol I might add the Element2 for that. This thing is getting crazy. I thought I was just gonna get 1 can and I have already ordered 3 (Mystic X, Omega, Spa...

Sparrow vs Element 2

Im trying to decide between these two. Anyone shot both? Im leaning towards the Element 2 cause the Sparrows FRP seems much louder on pistol. My LGS has the Sparrow for $299 and the Element 2 for $359.

[quote="chrismartin"]For Silencer baffles it's not effective.
For Firearms it works fine, but it's way too expensive.

Can you elaborate on your experience with the baffles? I read it doesn't work for aluminum but will for steel
