We ship more .338 cans threaded 5/8x24 than any other .338 thread pitch.

That alone should have been a huge red flag that something was not right.

Re: Newbie (me) needs advice on choosing a suppressor

The SR-7 is going to be AAC's "top of the line" 7.62 can, with an MSPR in the $1300 range (if you include the QD mount).

The cans that have been mentioned are GREAT suppressors, but considerably LESS expensive.

Re: A newby needs advice on Eforms

I am concerned as well about this proposed rule change regarding trusts and its effect on a pending form 4. I don’t want to get into the process and have ATF come back in several months and advise me that there has been a rule change and that I now have to submit fingerprint cards and CLEO signoff ...

Re: A newby needs advice on Eforms

Don't worry about the proposed Trust changes for now. Next legal proceeding is June, and even after that there's another lengthy comment/wait period. Any official final ruling won't come until well into 2015. http://www.silencertalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=122055 http://www.silencertalk.c...

Re: 300-TM Release?

Bump... I told my dealer to order me a 300-TM for a new bolt-action rifle build in 300 WSM. Is the 300-TM actually shipping? If not, how about the MK13-SD? Over 200 300-TM's have been made and will ship when the ATF approves the form 3s. It looks like the form 3's will come back in 30 days or so. B...

Re: saker 556 on a g36c

I know that AAC had to produce an "extended" QD mount for their 5.56 QD cans to work on the G36C, so I don't believe that a "stock" Saker QD mount would work (the can will bump into the handguard on the bottom).

Re: SILENCERCO'S SAKER 5.56mm suppressor (PICS & INFO)!!!!!!

I'm not interested in a bunch of "HOPLON TRIFECTA BLAH BLAH" trademarked marketing crap. Just come out and say things like "the patent-pending flash hider tines are different lengths so they ping less." Yea, they may have gone a little overboard with their marketing and anagrams...

Re: SWR's new suppressors for 2012!!!!

I don't want to come off as grumpy. But it costs a LOT of money to do this sound testing and more importantly, I spend A LOTTTTT of valuable "free time" (which I don't have a lot of) doing the tests. That's free time that I'm not spending with my family. If I'm sacrificing that much to pro...

Re: SWR's new suppressors for 2012!!!!

What SWR cans still use the Joe Gaddini Omega baffles? I don't know the meaning, but from the author I suspect this has a suggestive implication. I could be wrong, but that's what it seems like at first glance. Did Joe Gaddini not permit SWR to use the Omega anymore? Was SWR/Silencerco tired of pay...

Hmmmm,,,,, STILL waiting on a specwar from the last shot show. I hear ya - the Silencerco acquisition of SWR really slowed bringing that can to market. Some short term teething pains - but the long term benefits will be worth it!! We're hoping the first batch will be here within a month! :P
