Re: Threaded barrel for a S&W mod.41?
You can get a threaded 41 barrel a little cheaper from Clark Custom Guns and they will fit it to your pistol without charge. I don't have one but a friend does and he likes it.

Re: Use SilencerCo 3-Lug Coupler on Griffin Resistance 9?
I also would suggest the Rugged Obsidian 3 lug mount. Its nearly identical to the GA mount and they are in stock right now at the Silencer Shop.

Re: Question on legal limits of bore clearance?
So basically the charge would be possession of an unregistered silencer, which you would then be in a position of defending yourself against. Now, in this position, you bear the burden of proof. You have to prove that you are not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. How likely is it that you would be ...

Re: Rugged Obsidian 45 Availability
Silencer Shop screwed up and even though I got my order placed in the first 15 minutes and was assigned a serial number, I now have no serial number and am on the waiting list with very little chance of making 41P. Computer glitch and they can't do anything about it. On the bright side I've got som...

Re: .45 acp can option
I would choose the Octane myself based on the stainless baffles versus the aluminum. I like to tumble my baffles in stainless media so aluminum would be the deal breaker.

Re: Technical question about Rugged Suppressors Surge threads
The mount threads are 1"-12tpi.
I will have to check on the end cap threads. Just so you know there is some disagreement on whether you can make your own end cap or not without an 07/SOT.

Re: New 45 suppressor released today
Your 1/2x28 piston will work fine on your 9mm AR if you replace the piston spring with a fixed barrel spacer. I am also wondering if a silencerco or griffin mount will fit this can?

I didn't see what can or what manufacture it was. Are you not allowed to post that here? I would like to avoid a company with that kind of customer service.

Re: suppressors now legal in Vermont
I believe as VT shooters begin to see and hear suppressors at ranges or get to try them their support of them will grow. Many of our shooting enthusiasts in VT are completely unfamiliar with the benifits of using them. There is also the appeal of getting to have something that was banned for the las...

Re: suppressors now legal in Vermont
Yes, the dates are inconsistent. The one says effective July 2nd, the other says effective upon passage, and if you scroll down to section 28 it says effective July 1st. I think this is a huge step forward for Vermont. We can work on expanding their use to hunting etc. in steps. General Dynamics is ...

suppressors now legal in Vermont
Governor Shumlin just signed bill H5 into law on June 17th.
Suppressors are now legal in Vermont after being banned over a hundred years ago.
I will be starting paperwork on some very soon.
