Re: Q Honey Badger 2.0 ammo question

I’ve been looking for an actual review from a purchaser, too. Of either this or the Noveske version...

Re: SILENCERS ARE EVIL

I disagree. Silencers are good for the soul. Lemme ‘splain.... Money is the root of all evil, right??? So... getting hooked on silencers costs tons of money, right???? So... you now have much less money, right???? So... your soul gets more and more pure with each purchase, right???? The conclusion ...

Re: SILENCERS ARE EVIL

Good Lord! Some of these replies are down right AWESOME. lol I'm already looking at threaded barrels for my S&W 2.0c and HK VP9sk. That's over $500 right there! Then I'm looking at the CZ scorpion as well for a 9mm bullet hose for that can. I guess I'm already getting closer to sainthood with t...

Nice choce wile. I have an Omega (same ASR mount) as well as an AAC SDN-6. I like the ASR mount like on your Saker better. Both are good, but the ASR seems to be tighter and more stable.

It should serve you well, once you finally get it!

Definitely a welcome counter to the Gun Free Zone (Criminal Empowerment Zone) laws most places have regarding schools, and many other venues. As a note, I bet that most, if not all, of the Gun Free School Zone laws were passed by legislatures who met in places guraded by, you guessed it, ARMED secur...

Re: Great shot, airstrike on ISIS headquarters in Syria

As for the actual picture...nothing like minute-of-terrorist precision.

As for the US playing both sides; kind of like the campaign against cigarette smoking and still subsidizing tobacco farming.

It don't make a ick of sense!

Positive warranty experience

The 51T ratchet teeth on my 762-SDN-6 got too worn and the can would not lock up tight. I sent AAC an email. They immediately arranged prepaid shipping and I sent it back. Today it came back to me. The ratchet is new and it locks up better than it ever has. And, it looks like they re-cerakoted it; t...

Yep, the LLC/Trust way used to sail through. Now, they sNail through!

I like to flexibility of owning through by LLC but might do my next suppressor as an individual for speed.

Pisses me off to wait a year for the gummint's permission to take possession of something I already paid for.

Re: SilencerCo Omega 30

I use my Omega on my 5.56 10.5" SBR as well as my 16" 5.56 AR.

It works fine on each and is rated to do so.

You'll be in good shape with an Omega.

Re: Optimal barrel length for 9mm suppressed

I have a 5" on my AR SBR. 147s stay subsonic and I was shooting 124 ball and did not hear sonic cracks. I did not use my chrono so I can't tell you exact FPS readings. As for stabilizing, all shot well and using my Eotech sight and firing relatively quickly I was lobbing rounds into 4-5 inches ...

Re: SBR Form 1 Reached ATF on 14th

I have two SBR form 1s and a silencer form 4 from the second week of July 2016. Still waiting and realistically I don't expect anything for another month since forms were being sent in exponentially increasing numbers right up until the 13th.

Good grief, say it ain't so.

Of course, from my years spent on dive boats in the tropics, I have to say that spandex isn't for everyone. It is definitely a privilege and not a right! It seems that the larger the, ahem, specimen, the brighter colored the spandex. It is quite disturbing...

Re: "Hollywood Quiet" .22 host - barrel length questions...

Welcome to the forum Silvor! Bullet speed is half the equation. A gun going off can have two sounds; the sound of the hot expanding gases hitting the atmosphere (the bang) and the sound of the bullet as it breaks the sound barrier (the sonic boom). Subsonic bullets do away with the latter while a go...

Looks nice. Any chance of it in a direct thread mount? Pinned and welded, it'd make a nice no-tax-stamp gun if HPA passes.

Re: Curtis Tactical Integrally suppressed Savage 308

Looks great. But the 1000 dollar question is "How's it sound?" Built with premium names such as McMillan, Bartlien and Leupold, the $66,000 question is: Why Savage? What's wrong with Savage? I was thinking the same thing. Lately (especially since the AccuTrigger) I have considered the Sav...

The $100,000 dollar question is, when will you start building an integrally suppressed Ruger American Rifle in 300blk?

Re: Many gunowners say 4th Amendment just died--not so fast

So. A known felon, in a known high-crime/drug area, is knowingly flashing a pistol in piblic view, which he is knowningly carrying unlawfully, and then he knowingly is evasive/passively resistant.....

So, where is this an unreasonable seizure?

I'm with doubloon, the guy was asking for it.
