Re: #4 Buckshot is 'best'?
I carried OO Buck as LEO for 20 years, and have seen what it does to mammals, I could care less about "tests". Real life has shown me it works well. My Ithica 37 is always filled with OO, and the side saddle has 3 more of them and 2 slugs.

Re: BUG article (back up gun), do you need one?
I carry a revolver, so what good would a spare magazine be? No, I do not need a bug, but if I took the risk of carrying a semi-auto I probably would want one.

Re: 7.62 vs 30-06. For a bolt gun would you get a .308 or 30-06
I prefer the 30-06, I gave my 308s to my son. When I bought him his first rifle it was a 30-06, and I have a pre-war Model 70 Winchester in 06 myself. The 06 cartridge has many great choices for the hunter, and that is what I am, a hunter. If I were a target shooter my answer would be different. The...

Welding the pin
If I extend a short barrel using the welded pin method, can I run the pin through a larger sacrificial collar. So from outer to inner would be color, extension, barrel = with a hole all the way through the first 2 and partially into the barrel, and the tack weld on the collar at the pin. Thus, if it...

Re: Will Gov Shutdown hold up Form 1 applications?
I applied 12/01/19 and received my first approved paper Form 1 today. I called to see what was up last week ATF does not play well with Linux, so I do not use Eform. 10 inch long 1.65 inch, 45 caliber, Ti outer tube, Host T/C Contender, chambered in .45 Auto Rim, integral bi-mono core built directly...
