Re: BUMMED... second day with new suppressor... end cap strike...
Received my suppressor and threaded barrels today. The conclusion of the investigation was that I should refrain from using the Glock 19 Silencerco barrel, despite the fact that the barrel & suppressor were concentric and lined up (Rugged had 2 end cap strikes during their test). I was also advi...

Re: BUMMED... second day with new suppressor... end cap strike...
Rugged has had my suppressor and both threaded barrels for a few days now. They are running tests and hope to conclude by next week.
I'll keep you guys posted on the results when they come in.
SIDE NOTE: Rugged's customer service has been outstanding thus far.

Re: BUMMED... second day with new suppressor... end cap strike...
Seems so obvious that I didn’t even think about it. I guess I just assumed that since both barrels were Silencerco, then both should be fine. Silencerco seems reputable enough to machine it right? Hmmm.

Re: Anyone who used bar code get a stamp back yet?
I wonder how that affects suppressor sales? The bar code being "faster" definitely persuaded my decision to buy 2 more suppressors. Wonder how things are now that word is out that the bar code didn't speed up the stamp.

1911 suppressed versus non-1911 suppressed
Buddy of mine said 1911s have less blowback and less emitted DB than non-1911 hosts. Can anyone who shoots both attest to this?

You get the mount, the adapter, and special tool. This product has been used, so it's not brand new.
Asking price is $75 (that includes shipping)
Please email me at [email protected] as I don't check messages here at all.

I have a Rugged Obsidian 45 in jail. Is there an appreciable difference in DB reduction to get the 9mm for when I shoot 9mm?

Re: 8th week of Form 3 and STILL waiting!!!! WTF???
ericlw: I have no problem waiting 10 months for a Form 4. But if you're responding that you've waited 10 months for a form 3, then yeah, I'm pretty sure the majority of people on this forum would say that's absurd.

8th week of Form 3 and STILL waiting!!!! WTF???
Ordered Octane 9HD exactly 8 weeks ago. Was told by dealer that Form 3s can take up to 6 weeks, but they've been getting back to the dealer around the 3-week mark. I ordered a suppressor in 02/16 and received my stamp in exactly 16 weeks. It's been 8 weeks and still can't even get a Form 3 just to e...

We will get our $200 in tax stamp(s) back. What will happen to prices of suppressors? Stay the same? Go way up?

Re: Tirant 9mm or Rugged Obsidian 45 for 9mm
I ended up buying the SilencerCo Octane 9 HD today. .22lr AAC Element 2 has zero blowback with my Ruger 22/45. I'll be running the Octane 9 HD on a Glock 19. I heard blowback is so bad with that host that you can taste it. Well, I'll see in 8 months!!!

Tirant 9mm or Rugged Obsidian 45 for 9mm
Brothers in arms, I posted a while ago about receiving my first .22lr suppressor (AAC Element 2). It is known for being one of THE quietest with very little FRP, if any at all. I am searching for such a suppressor for a Glock 19. Tirant 9mm has good reviews, but it has aluminum baffles, which is no ...

Mbogo. Switched to a PPK/S host. Most quiet host I've ever heard. ZERO blowback / splash back. Video here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BILv5TIADU9 ... by=djleejd

Thanks mbogo. Gonna try a different host - one with a shorter barrel. Maybe that'll be better (or worse). Who knows.
