Re: Moving with NFA?
I'm moving from Maine to NH. Both states allow the SBR and cans that I have under my Trust. Do I need to fill out a form and inform the ATF of the address change? Also, can I simply amed my trust to have the new address and re-notarize it under said address? I have a couple of SBRs I'd like to get ...

Re: Cans finally cleared!
Prior to getting these cans, I had 3 others on the trust and a SBS with no problems. I firmly believe that I got nit picked to death on mine. I met a lawyer who has done a bunch of NFA work at a local shop and got to talking to him. He agreed with my conclusions and helped me trim a little fat. I in...

Cans finally cleared!
After 8 long months, 3 revisions of my trust and a lot of frustration my forms cleared. I took delivery of my Trident9, Osprey40 and YHM Phantom. The only problem I have now is mounting solutions. I need a threaded 40S&W barrel for my glock 23 and sig 229. Any reccomendations would be great. I a...

Re: Trust crack down or my paperwork got sent back
THIS! Don't get cute. If your name is Jack Smith and your trust name is "yessireebob" the ATF won't like it. Thats the thing. The trust isn't totally different from my name. The term KAGENFA living revocable trust establishes the prupose of the trust while retaining the idenity of me. By ...

Re: Trust crack down or my paperwork got sent back AGAIN!!
Got a call from my dealer again this week. I made the "corrections" to the trust that Nancy Flanigan wanted and she sends me back another form outlining the following: Name of the the trust must be the same as the grantor Name of the the trust, grantor and trustee must match on all documen...

Re: Trust crack down or my paperwork got sent back
yeah its been at least 6 months since we had a "OMG my quicken trust is FUBAR" thread.... I predict we will never hear a reason as to why... I predict the only update we will get will be that he paid a lawyer to "fix" the "invalid trust"... and that paying for the lawy...

Re: Trust crack down or my paperwork got sent back
Sorry all been a away for a while and it took me over 2 weeks just to get up to my dealer to get the form from the ATF. To answer some questions: Yes it was a Quicken Willmaker trust. It was modified by a local lawyer before I sent off my first form 4s. No issues with two suppressors and a SBS. The ...

Trust crack down or my paperwork got sent back AGAIN!!
Well its been six months since I sent off my Form 4s for 3 suppressors. Been bugging my dealer to find out what the story is and low and behold the paperwork comes back this week citing issues with how the trust is written. Kicker is that I have 3 suppressors and an SBS on the trust already! I guess...

Re: Question about moving and my trust
the trust currently contains 2 suppressors. The verbage in the NH trust VS the ME trust is exactly the same. The way I figure it I can just put an amendment at the end and have it renotarized into NH. I do not plan on going back to the great state of taxation that is Maine. I'll need to get a NH lic...

Question about moving and my trust
We finally sold our house and we're moved in with my outlaws. The issue is that I live(d) in Maine and my dealer is in Maine. I still have my Maine license and plan to keep it until I need to register a car in NH. I plan on buying 2 suppressors and registering a lower as an SBR this month. Given the...

Silenced 7.5" AR upper?
I am looking to get a tiny upper for my AR. I was wondering if the AAC M4-2000 will work well on a 7.5" custom build? Also whats the ruling on silenced gas piston uppers?
Thanks

Multiple Trustees?
I was wondering what the rules were regarding how many trustees one could have for an NFA trust. For example, if I wanted my trust to include myself as the primary trustee and add my wife and son as trustees so they could use the items held in the trust. Is there a limit? I would think that if every...

yeah, we have a handy cam that we have sitting next to our couch now. Everytime we see him outside we videotape. Ugh, it sucks that I'm going through this now. I prefer not having to make sure the wife is ready to do combat (shes working from home this week). I contacted a couple of local cops I kn...

UPDATE: Well I've spent the day working on projects in the basement. While down there my neighbor has decided to drop every tree between our properties. Hehe, good thing I planted more on my side. Hey all, good advice from everyone. I ordered up the video kit I posted earlier so I will have 24 hr access. I live in Maine. I am actually in the woods, but his house is behind my backyard. I work in NH, so I have to keep both states laws in mind. Today he began to run his mouth again as I was wate...
