Re: can/should this be repaired and if so, how?
.....at this point, any repair work would need to be performed by an 07/02 FFL. JC would be correct, reweld, welded sleeve over it etc.... only an 07/02 can repair a can. I thought anyone could repair they're own can as long as they don't add parts. In this case, adding a sleeve would require a 07/...

Re: Monocore design
That is pretty much how I look at the effect of gas flow in a can, reflects off of walls and exits the path of least resistance. I am going to have both of these 3D printed then use a clear tube to force smoke through it and see how it reacts in slow motion (not sure if this will work or not).. will...

Monocore design
Been doing some research on monocore's and it seems that you do not want the baffles aligned for the best performance... my question is would a design like this work for say .223/.308? Baffles are around .5" apart, initial baffles will be flat to strip as much gas off as possible without distur...

Re: JMPF or TYCA Maglite Stainless cups reviews
Poolshark, Do you have a CAD model of your funnels? I see on your website it states that the OAL is 1.388, but with some of the cone overlapping I am unable to calculate how many would be needed for a 7.5" SDTA tube with ends? Do you have a measurement for the length of the spacer only? This w...

Re: JMPF or TYCA Maglite Stainless cups reviews
Thanks!I will place an order as soon as I can find a site that has the proper size seamless TI tubing. Perhaps you have a recommendation? Also, what material do you recommend for end caps? Last question is do you port or vent in some fashion? I believe they are for the Maglite "D cell" tu...

Re: JMPF or TYCA Maglite Stainless cups reviews
Hey there Poolshark, Nice to see you in my thread,,,lol I ordered from you (poolshark) and already have my tracking number from you. These look good! I'm going to open these to 10.5 mm (0.413 in.) for a 357 Mag Form One on my mini lathe. I'm on the fence about turning out some K's for my .22 Form O...

Re: How effective would this design be?
Yes, the design has some potential, difficult to machine for most Form1 builds though. With a scoop/clip(whatever people call them this week) it will help notably. I was just curious since I have never seen the design, finding there is only so much you can do without live tooling.. I was all thinki...

How effective would this design be?
Hey guys, new to this forum but I frequent SD&F1... started playing around with Fusion360 tonight and made this 60° cone... How well do you think a design like this would suppress in say a pistol/rifle? (one in photo was designed for .45) http://i.imgur.com/4GjpJMB.jpg?2 any input is appreciated
