Re: Help with making a 308 and 300blkout supersonic &subsonic supprssor
Slighly off topic, but I believe extra space between the exit cap and the front of the last baffle would also improve suppression. Ive heard people say they have reported excellent results in doing so. And in my opinion I agree with what someone already said. You should definently use more than 5 ba...

Re: Ks vs Radials
I have heard of people having excellent results with K's specifically for 9mm and smaller. Radials work well, however IMHO I don't think they work better than K's on 9mm.
Good luck with you build ,and let us know what you end up going choosing.

Re: Distance to first baffle
I would give it approx 1". I wouldn't go any more than 1.5" personally. I know of some that have had excellent results without much space before the first baffle, especially considering the diameter of your build.
Hope that is somewhat helpful.

Re: lathe coolant systems
I agree with the a lot or non at all for carbide. I've personally noticed an incredible difference when boring on 17-4 with coolant. I agree it is not necessary, but boy does it make a difference especially when parting. It also eliminates any chip weld you would get. When using my 6 flute 60 degree...

Re: To clip or not to clip, that is the question
I do not believe it is necessary to clip the baffles. on a 300 blackout with the right design, and space between baffles the difference would probably be negligible. I believe if you did clip them you would probably not notice a difference, and you might lose some accuracy.

Re: Compromises in building a Combo 9mm SMG & 300 BLK Suppressor
What would be the compromises in building a combo 9mm/300 BLK suppressor? The the barrel length for both would be 8". Obviously, the 300 BLK would generate more muzzle pressure, so the suppressor would end up being heavier. I am guessing that the suppressor would end up being 9" long and ...
