Just watched the video of this informal test for the first time. (say informal because of the frightening weapon handling and out of view roll pin breakage) Did I miss a post of a video showing a AAC can being tested in this fashion as stated in the video? On another note, (after 100 pages who would...

Kevin took your advise and called the office yesterday, and was advised it would be a couple of more weeks, due to the can having it's SCARmor finished applied etc. but no firm date given. I was advised eight weeks ago this same thing. So I canceled my order today, and ordered another companies can ...

Didn't you guys say you would no longer provide such info such as ETA, and not to ask in a previous post here? I have been also waiting 14 weeks which I have pre-paid. I spoke with my dealer Midwest Gun Exchange this past week to see if I could change my order, and was advised they also pre-paid AAC...

We weren't actually going to offer it, but if there is enough interest... Kevin, this week I just brought home my new LWRC M6A2 CQB which your M4-2000 Mod 7 is going on after you ship mine to Midwest Gun Exchange. I would love to have my can gunkoted before it leaves your place!! What do I have to ...

If I was in Iraq, I could see the benefit of a rifle like the Noveske because I MUST use ammunition that is in the military supply chain. Sure, a few contractors and secret squirrels may use 458 Socom's or some other special purpose round but, that isn't an option for most folks in harms way. LOL@ ...

Dan:

If this is your 1st AR and do not have a ton of magz & ammo in 5.56, I would go with 6.8.

I have a LWRC M6A2 CQB in 5.56, and already had ammo/magz on hand.
IMO in a SBR only shoot 5.56 not .223. And for carry ammo only Mk262 Mod 1 or TAP 75gr 5.56.

When did you order your AAC M4-2000 Mod 7

Just wondering when did you order your AAC M4-2000 Mod 7, and when did you get it?

Myself;

Ordered: March 12th, no ETA to date.

Thanks in advance,

Hey since we are on this topic, I have started to reseached which fixed iron night sights to install on my G21 SF. It has brought me to the Ameriglo brand. They make a rear sight GTR-100 (.394" in height) for suppressor use, and they state to use the GL-112-300 (300" in height) or GL-112-3...

Metric thread specs have a short unthreaded portion forward of the thread that may or may not make it easier to "start" the threads. I can only surmise that this is done to prevent those clumsy Euro fucks from crossing the threads on their .380 Walther pea-shooters. Thanks for the threade...

Not only that for me, but tring to understand the benefits of metric vs std US thread pitches.

 your too funny cyclone72! And thanks for the heads up on Jarvis billing. Hey maybe you can help me a little more. You said you have both 16X1 LH & 16X1 RN barrels. Can you or some one else post pic's of these, and a .578X28? Would be of great help to see what these look like. Thanks again ...

Bar-Sto and KKM offer some nice Stainless barrels but, only in "American" thread pitches. Hey I see where Bar-Sto now offers a 16X1 RH for a Glock 21. FOOK thought I had this sorted out! With all the talk of Jarvis's lack of order fulfillments, and untimely ship times, perhaps that ...

I would tend to agree cyclone72, but both Freddy & Mike advised to go LH with the EVO45 or BLACKBOX.

If all things are equal, the theory along with the advise, might as well order a LH threads.

Yes, backwards threads in theory self tighten because the torque of the bullet going down the barrel spins the barrel to tighten it and the suppressor. Grand Slam Sid thanks! Thats what I was looking for. So I am going to order a Jarvis 16x1MM LH. FWIW spoke with them few days ago, and the said tha...

The o-ring keeps the water/grease/etc out off your face and out of your eyes if you shoot wet. Yeah understand that okay, but Mike made it sound like a LH thread would tighten it's self onto to the can better, and the o-ring would help as mech advantage to help it from unthreading as well. Guess wh...

I really like the Metric threads on my G17 Jarvis barrel. There is a smooth muzzle section that helps align it and makes mounting easy and eliminates any cross threading worries for me. I'll most likely stick with the backwards metric threading from now on. I spoke with Freddy and Mike, and they re...
