Re: ultrasonic cleaning???
I use a 1.3 liter (a little small) and a 3 liter (about right) that came from China via Amazon. Both were cheap and work well. I run mine hot, about 75C and use water with a few ounces of Oven, Grill & Fryer Cleaner. It'll remove just about anything, including dissolving any aluminium or Cerokot...

Re: HK "NAVY" STYLE 3-LUG SUPPRESSOR ADAPTER W 1/2-28 MUZZLE?
The 3 lug adapter and piston would occupy the same space in the suppressor. It's one or the other and you probably want the other on that pistol. A 3 lug on a Browning action doesn't really do anything for you except make it a single shot. Might be nice on something with a fixed barrel though.

Re: Silencers, dirty brass, and malfunctions. I need some help
I'm going add, because i worry you might be off track a little, A suppressed 308 has all kinds of energy. You can tear cases apart with it. You almost can't get it dirty enough to stop it. All the AGB suggestions, imply a belief that your way over gassed suppressed. Generally you need to slow things...

Re: Silencers, dirty brass, and malfunctions. I need some help
Your rifle just shouldn't be getting "that" dirty in 5 rounds or even probably a hundred. In addition to the AGB I'll add that an A2 stock setup is inherently more forgiving than the shortened carbine buffer tube setup. I can notice the difference. Also the bigger 308 case head swings into...

Re: OBSIDIAN with 9mm end cap
I can't find where they sell the 9 cap for the Octane 45 anymore. Did you get it from the special run from Silencer Shop or did it happen on an Octane 9? That was an Octane 45 with a 9mm cap shooting a G19. I bought it from Silencer Shop and they came in Silencerco packaging. I haven't seen any aro...

Re: OBSIDIAN with 9mm end cap
I've chewed out an Octane 9mm cap. Once it was nicked, I shot on and traced it to double tapping faster than the piston could lock up.

Re: BCM .300blk upper with omega - what barrel length?
Of IMR 4227, I use 9.3 gr in a 10.5", 9.5 gr in a 8.5" and 10.0 gr in a 5.5", all to get around 1000 fps. 9.3 gr is quieter than 10.0 gr in all of them... but 9.5 gr in the 5.5" at 955 fps is plenty quiet and works very well. I like a shorter barrel mostly because that's what the...

Re: Looking for a .22 can host
I found myself looking for a reliable suppressible 22 I could throw in a pack where weight might be an issue. +1 on M&P Compact. Not much of a footprint, even with spare ammo. Most 22 brands I chrono'd at just under 1000fps and Winchester plated hollow point shot the best groups at 1033fps. For ...

Re: Pistol Suppressor Reliability Issue
My Octane 45 would pop an extra round loose in my Gen 4 G19 till I went with an aftermarket gen 3 guide rod, heavier spring and the gen 4 rod adapter. For me, it was usually the last round. It would be sitting loose on the mag with the slide locked back. Heavy spring seemed to fix it. Lone Wolf has ...

An SBR with a muzzle brake is almost unusable unsuppressed. Your dog will never forgive you and all your friends will be too busy to go shooting with you...

Re: Difference in weighting frequency between "A" and "D"
I found that graph on page 6 of the B&K 2209 manual but it took me a lot longer than 0.71 seconds.
Looks like A is suppose to be less D everywhere except near 1KHz

Re: So... Uh..... What did I miss???
"[S]ammiched ... in [the] chamber" kind of says it all.
If your in the mood for a "race" gun, why not just cut down some 9x21 cases and tune something consistent.
Call it 9x19.25 Sammich. I thought it was kind of dumb till I wrote this. I'm going to try it.

I've used DH4YHF's Spectrum Lab, but not for your application. It is full featured and not for the faint of heart.

Re: Heavier Buffer Than an H3?
I have a 5.5" barrel 9mm AR and Octane 45. The thing just begs me to shoot it fast and even with sleeping kids in the car 10 feet away, window down, they stayed asleep. It's an absolute blast, and the only round out of thousands that has ever jammed was the first round into the chamber. A littl...

I don't own a Ti-Rrant, but are you sure it's not just carbon built up near the end of those piston threads?

Re: G21 & G19 Octane HD Problems!
I couldn't resist, my first post here. I have a G21 and G19 with Wolff barrels, a Commander with the Ed Brown barrel and a 9mm AR with a 5.5" barrel and a 3 lug. I've seen a few these problems, but clean and tight my Octane HD shoots great on all of them. I'll throw a few of my observations out...
