To AAC...on rebuilding cans from other mfg's....
I have an old gemtech predator 223 thread attatch can that I dont like anymore. It is slightly damaged with a few front end cap strikes. If I paid the cost of a new M4 2000 07 could I send it in to be rebuilt into a new m4 2000 07 with my old serial number??? My buddy has an AAC m4 and I really want...

Impartial observer of all this
I have a gemtech predator and am very happy with it. While I never put it through this kind of test it still works well. Having said that, If I could trade it for an AAC M4 2000 right now I would do it in a heartbeat. You can say what you want about robert and AAC but you cannot deny the fact that t...

For real world USE its the best.....
Not talking about standing at a target range and putting 100 rds down range, but when you need a compact highly suppressed weapon, my titanium Abraxas on my glock 26 cant be beat. I've dispatched large pests within 25 yards of neighbors with it properly lubed and using TTI 158 fmj without being noti...

warning
Please note that I have not shot the modified barrel without the can on. I imagine that the mod causes the unlock cycle to accelerate and could be dangerous if used without the can.

finally got it going!!!!!!!!!!!!!secret inside
I talked to a real smart guy who is a machinist. We looked at the problem and he suggested taking a small amount of metal off of the top of the barrel at the front lug. I chucked it up in the mill and proceeded to take the edge off. With the factory recoil spring and 147 grain reloads clocking out a...

Took my buddys glock 19 with a FAC threaded barrel and wolff 15 pound spring and tried again with my Titanium Abraxas. Using magtech 9mm 147 subsonic. didnt even begin to cycle. I can buy a booster from awc but it will block the sights which is why I got the Abraxas in the first place. I can shell o...

another tale
Back during the assault weapons ban, this nut was taking new colt ar receivers adding a 7" upper and collapsible buttstock and papering them as AOW's... A buddy of a buddy bought one and I tried to warn him but he did it anyway. The buddy even called atf and asked them if it was ok. their respo...

update
shooting without the mag in the pistol,to reduce the drag on the bottom of the slide and using winchester 147 white box and 147 reloads that chrono around 1000 fps, would get no attempt to exctract with my 14 # wolff springs. So I started clipping one coil at a time from the smaller spring and test f...

saga of the cycleless g26
Got a factory g19 barrel for my 26 and had it threaded for my AWC abraxas titanium suppressor. gun would not cycle so I shot 300 rounds unsuppressed to loosen things up. Still no worky. this can was supposed to have been developed for the govt to use on the glock 19 and 26. Wolf sold me a recoil spr...

Yes, I use the appropriate amount of white lithium grease supplied with the can. RANGE REPORT.......... shot winchester usa 147 fmj. 15 yards... not good accuracy at least from this particular barrel{factory 19 }threaded , about 5" on a redfield site in target more or less centered, but at 10 f...

Just got my titanium abraxas.... wow....
Talk about quiet..man its small and the level of suppression is OUTSTANDING to say the least. A buddy of mine has an SWR k3 on a browning hipower and this tiny can of mine sounds to my ear at least just as quiet. Count me as a big fan of AWC. their Abraxas can is great.

Hey debo...will you thread my glock barrel???
found a guy who will sell me a FAC barrel but really wanted to stay with oem factory parts for my glock set up. threading kimber SVT. Will it ruin my accuracy?
My kimber SVT shoots wolf match 22 into 3/4 " group at 100 yards. I want to thread it for my CAC 22. When you thread a barrel, dont you have to have it on a live center which is a metal insert stuck into my muzzle that could jack with my crown.?. I dont want to screw with anything that could ef...

Shortest barrel yet on a mark II
Cut a 43/4 mark II upper barrel down so that only threads stick out from receiver. Had to pin the barrel so it wouldnt unscrew. Measuring from the front of the round in the chamber, I get .945 of actual rifled barrel. It works with my tac 65 using mini mags and subsonic CCI. Not much quieter than my...

thanks for the info debo...
I'm getting real close to buying one but have been let down before with cans. The info you have provided is much appreciated. If you get a chance, let me know how much variance there is in point of impact when can is on VS off. thanks in advance

how many shots before it gets loud?
Assuming a new full charge of grease, how many quiet rounds can you get? How loud is it dry? Unbearably loud or just somewhat quieter than non suppressed?

AAC spider2...feedback???
How does it stack up next to an AWC Abraxas titanium? About the same size but is there a substantial and predictable point of impact shift vs point of aim with the can on? I know all cans shift POI some but with the Abraxas I've heard it can be really bad. Any real world users have any input?
