Re: 7.62x39 subsonic recs

Speaking of 7.62x39 hand loads, which brands do brass for this calibre with standard primers instead of the Berdan ones? I'd like to get my first 7.62 rifle and reload ammo, but most surplus rounds use the retarded Berdan type corrosive primer that's way too hard to change when reloading for it to ...

Re: Building .308 ar-10. Looking for recommendations

Does anyone have any good 308 build combinations they’ve designed that are not an arm and a leg? I was about to order a palmetto lower and started reading reviews about how not all uppers will match in the ar-10 platform like they do in the 15 line. I have an omega silencer I plan to use with this ...

Re: Tin Star for subsonic 7.62x39 loads?

If you'd be willing to share I'd love to know what you have cooked up that you like. My buddy and I are contemplating reloading x39. Atomic makes great stuff and the Sierra Match King 220 is great. More specifically if you have any #'s on cost per round you have it down to that'd be awesome. Thanks

Re: Anyone got there hands on Kevins new stuff?

Been really pleased with my Thunder Chicken. Took a solid year and researched and tested Sig SRD Ti, SilencerCo Omega and a couple of Gemtech models and I liked them all. In the end I took the rec of a hog hunter friend in TX and went with Q sight unseen. I don't own a dB meter, but to my ear I like...

Re: Stuck QD mount no wrench flats

the link you gave does have a place to put a wrench. Look at the shoulder. I'm having an off-day, I'm not following your question well. If you're referring to no wrench flats on the q cherry bomb, you could always find an allen key and put through the holes and try that. Wrap your channel locks or ...

Stuck QD mount no wrench flats

Hey guys looking for some advice on a problem that I don't have and hope to never have, but thinking ahead in the event it does. I torqued and Rocksett my Q cherry bomb to spec and it's been a dream shooting the suppressor. Having said that things don't always go as planned and since the brake has n...

Hog/coyote hunter lost in the sea of 7.62 suppressors

I rarely deer hunt any longer almost all thermal night varmint eradication at this point with 308AR. I'm the last of our group without a can and it's not easy getting unbiased opinions of the guys I hunt with 'mine is the best get this one'. Sig SRD direct thread Gemtech not sure model Radical firea...
