Re: .223 suppressor-comments on the proposal
Here http://guns.connect.fi/rs/krsgraaf.html It is basically the same as a reflex galvanized steel sheet would certainly not be afraid, there is a life much higher than aluminum, rather comparable to stainless steel. Rather, is it about whether this design will work well or something needs to be cha...

Re: 7,62x39 suppressor question
I made a design similar to something between these two designs and I must say that this is not the worst. It doesn't sound as quiet as an unimpressed rimfire rifle, but it can be fired without headphones without the shooter being shocked by the noise, even on a partially covered shooting range. Unfo...

Re: .223 suppressor-comments on the proposal
No, but I found tapered zinc-plated plugs that fit exactly into the tube and could function as baffles. The baffles sheet has a thickness of about 1.5-2mm
However, the angle is too small ..... as in the drawing

.223 suppressor-comments on the proposal
Greetings to all I would like to ask what do you think about this simple pseudo reflex suppressor design? It has some potential to work or it's nonsense. Inspiration is in simple Finnish reflex suppressors It is especially designed for simplicity and durability. Weigh higher unfortunately :-( Materi...

Re: 7,62x39 suppressor question
Will the dimming expansion chamber not be affected by the design on the right? Can not a can-grenade or can drastically increase the back pressure? I'm aware that the can is too thin, it was used for the gun and it worked with other content as a champion. But there is no other available. its small i...

Re: 7,62x39 suppressor question
Okay, thank you sir for the tip, I'll try to overwork it.......So I have to cancel all the distances and instead supply them with more baffles?? I'm going to drill holes with a 10.5mm diameter drill, also due to concentricity and safety. Is this average unnecessarily large or can it be used? I have ...

Re: 7,62x39 suppressor question
Unfortunately, only this can was originally intended for the pistol. Clearly, it will not be the quietest, but if it suppresses at least half the explosion, it will be good. It will mainly shoot supersonic ammunition I wondered how to expand the expansion chamber quickly and add a 30-40mm long tube ...

7,62x39 suppressor question
I would like to use the existing can and adjust the internal arrangement for 7.62x39. Does this rough design have any chance? The dimensions are not exactly accurate and the number of freeze plug baffles, it's just a rough drawing. The internal layout can vary and extend the expansion chamber. I nee...

Re: Poor suppressor function
1) the can is now 190mm-stainless steel, the wall thickness is 1.10mm 2) The inner diameter of the can is 30mm 3) Two holes 2 mm were drilled in each baffle, now the second holes are already welded 4) the distance between the partitions is 7.60mm.......the original design was missing spacer rings, t...

Re: Poor suppressor function
I managed to open a welded can and pull out all the baffles. All the baffles outside the first and the last had 2 ventilation openings with a diameter of 2mm, which were rotated by 180 degrees each time My latheman is now busy for a long time. I will have to adjust my current proposal now.....for no...

Re: Poor suppressor function
Gentlemen Thank you for your comments directly to the matter and photos, I appreciate it Capt. : Indeed, reducing baffles and defining space by spacers of appropriate size was the first thing that occurred to me and where I probably made a mistake What length of distance would you choose? Do you thi...

Re: Poor suppressor function
My pistol is just CZ skorpion and 7.62 vz58 semi auto rifle Can you tell us how do you have the K-partitions modified? Did you have to replace the springs because of the blowback function for the harder? It seems to me that the scorpion is not a blowback effect so much prone.....so prone as another ...

Re: Poor suppressor function
Is it possible to cut freeze baffles dremel? What trimming style can be most effective in this case? Or would it be better to produce new K-baffles from aluminum? Does it make any sense at 32ACP? Is it better for a smaller caliber to compose partitions with cropped holes in one line or does it have ...

Re: Poor suppressor function
Dimensions are 30mm inner diameter of can. Wall thickness 1.5mm The length is 220mm, the length of the expansion chamber is 40mm. The meshes between the individual baffles are 9mm (aligned freeze plug). Thread M12x1 Unfortunately, the can is welded, no additional baffles can be done The suppressor i...

Poor suppressor function
Hello to everybody I would like to thank in advance for this forum full of great ideas and constructions! I designed my own freeze plugs suppressor for the 32 ACP pistol according to this preliminary design, but it does not work well. Noise is reduced by at least about 1/3 down. This design was orig...
