223 Subsonic Cycling Load Data
For the past 7 months I have been trying to get a .223 subsonic load working with a standard AR15 platform that cycles. I tried to find some load data but had no luck. It seems a few others have tried this and ended up not having much luck either. Some of the load data posted that claimed to cycle a...

Suppressor accuracy issue & question
I have an odd issue I'm not able to solve so I'm looking for some advice. This is the handload I'm using: 300 AAC Blackout 220 grain TMJ bullet 7.7 grain of Accurate No. 9 ~1000 FPS I'm using a Form 1 7.5" suppressor designed for the blackout and it's very quite on my all of my 300 AAC firearms...

Re: 9mm rifle subsonic load data?
Thanks for all the info on the 9mm load data. Much appreciated!
John A,
The 165 gr Hush round nose sounds like a winner. I'd like to give that a try too.

9mm rifle subsonic load data?
I recently purchased a Ruger PC Carbine 9mm rifle which has a 16" threaded barrel. I also purchased some inexpensive 9mm 147 gr. ammo rated a 950 FPS. However, shooting the PC Carbine with my .44 suppressor the rounds were really loud. I got my crono and tested the ammo and it was going about 1...

Re: Advice for a Form 1 .44 Mag suppressor
fishman & ECCO Machine, thanks, I will defiantly clip the baffles. My plan was to use 60 deg cone baffles. I also planned on using .44 Special or loading a heavy subsonic .44 mag load Capt. Link., I thought about a reflex design after I received the barrel back from the gun smith. I should have ...

Re: Advice for a Form 1 .44 Mag suppressor
ECCO Machine, thank you for the response. Yes, it is not ideal to have a 28" barrel but with the single shot firearm the chamber is closer to the buttstock than with a bolt or automatic, to the overall length would probably be similar to a bolt with a 24" barrel. I built a Form 1 suppresso...

Advice for a Form 1 .44 Mag suppressor
I recently purchased a CVA Scout in .44 Mag and had the barrel cut to 16.5" and threaded. My plan is to build a Form 1 suppressor and use this for deer hunting. Most of the suppressor designs I have seen for the .44 Mag are Ruger 44/77 that are integrally suppressed. I am looking to build a dir...

Re: Can't get my suppressed 300 AAC AR quiet
Thanks #40Fan & cdhknives for the responses. It sounds like reloading is the solution here. That will be my next step into solving this problem. Again, thanks for the input!

Can't get my suppressed 300 AAC AR quiet
This is my fist posting here, but I have been a long-time follower. There is a ton a great information here! My question is about trying to get my 300 AAC AR quiet using a Liberty Mystic-X suppressor quiet. I don't have a way to measure sound dB's but if I put the Mystic-X on my Ruger American chamb...
