Re: First Form 1 Design
Didn't go without ear pro on the 5.56 but the noise/concussion reduction was very noticeable.

Re: First Form 1 Design
Sorry, been MIA for a little bit! This is my first silencer so I can't compare it to others, but I am very pleased with it's performance. I will try to take a video of it soon, and I know that won't give accurate information but I don't have a meter. 6.5G thru it was really sweet! I plan to hunt wit...

Does anyone know if this can could withstand 6.5 Grendel out of a 12.5'' barrel? Thanks!

Re: 1.372” cones
Super Precision Concepts has some 1.372'' but I am unsure if they are 60 degree.

Just saw they are on back order though.

Re: First Form 1 Design
What do people recommend for DHC clipping? Single or double? What are the advantages/disadvantages with regards to suppression and POI shift? Thanks!

Re: First Form 1 Design
Thanks! I can confirm that making the last spacer 0.50'', instead of 0.375'', is perfect. Everything tightens up snug and the lands on the end cap are flush with the end of the tube.

Re: First Form 1 Design
The rest of my parts came in today. Slight change in build plans, the ASR tube has a land in it for the first baffle to tighten up to. Essentially taking the place of my first 2'' spacer, it is close to the same spot I was intending but not exactly. I threw all my cups and spacers in there and tight...

Re: Form 1 build material sourcing?
Can't go wrong with another Form1! I'm not saying yours will take as long as mine, maybe they are getting caught up on orders. Depends on order size too I'd imagine.

Re: First Form 1 Design
I haven't had a reply from them since the automated message when you order. I ordered "in stock" items on Jan 24th. I was talking to a guy the other day who also ordered from DM at the end of January, and he received his item(s) a week ago. The guy said it's a one man shop, I'm assuming he...

Yes, they were in stock. I may be a little impatient, but spending $200+ with someone and not getting a response can be eerie.

Re: First Form 1 Design
All documents received by ATF, waiting on approval now. I went ahead and ordered materials from Diversified Machine 18 days ago and haven't had any contact from them since the initial email confirming my order. I've sent 3 emails for an order status to both of their email addresses and haven't heard...

I am using a drill press and fixture/vise for boring the holes in my radial baffles. My baffles are 17-4 SS and Gr 5 Ti. I planned to drill 11/32'' then ream to .375'', then use a 1/4'' ball end mill to clip. Will HSS tooling work for me or will I need Carbide tipped or Solid Carbide? What speed sho...

Maybe https://www.titaniumjoe.com/ has what you need? I've never used them. Do you need them threaded or do you plan to do them yourself?
