Re: suppressor getting lose while shooting

I have a Gemtech threaded can in 22 rimfire and a custom .223 can, both with 1/2-28 threads. Both will start to come loose after just a few rounds. I take some thin black electricians tape and wrap it once around the barrel/suppressor juncture and no more movement. When I'm done, I just pull the tap...

Sorry to hear that. I was hoping plated bullets would be much cleaner in my can. :(

CCI Segmented Subsonic Plated Ammo

I have noticed over the years that 22 rimfire ammo is pretty nasty compared to centerfire. One culprit is the lead bullet. Especially in suppressors, the lead dust seems to accumulate quickly. I just saw where CCI has a plated subsonic 40 gr. load described as segmented. I assume this to help expans...

Tim at suppressed Armaments Systems seals his suppressors so I don't know which baffles he uses, only that they are very efficient.

Suppressed Armaments System's 223 Sentinel Range Trip

I had the opportunity to range test my Suppressed Armaments Sentinel 223 can Sunday and was extremely pleased. I like the Sentinel because it's primarily titanium and very lightweight. I had Tim at SAS thread my Remington XR100 rifle and he did a great job. This rifle had proved to be very accurate ...

Why go the extra step?
Answer: My dealer is my friend who gave me a great discount. SAS wants full retail. Nuff said?

Re: Suppressed Armaments System 223 Sentinel

According to my dealer, Suppressed Armaments told him they have a couple of dozen of form 3's that have been out for 8+ weeks. Whay does the ATFE have to approve anything? Both the manufacturer and dealer are registered. Approval should be instant! Damn the bureaucrats!!!

Suppressed Armaments System 223 Sentinel

I bought one of these titanium cans several months ago and am still waiting for the ATFE to clear the paperwork from the maker to my dealer! So if I'm lucky, I might be able to shoot this in September. Anyhow, has anybody had any experience with these Sentinel's in real world situations. all I got t...

Re: Advice / Information Needed

I've met Tim who is the owber/fabricator at Suppressed Armament Systems and have been impressed with him. I've shot a couple of his cans and was pleased. If anything, they might be a bit heavier than others. I find his prices to be quite a bit less than the big name makers. As a note about his quali...

I have a Gemtech Outback II can on my P22 along with the coolest 45 round drum magazine. I got the magazine from a seller on GunBroker called RRHZMH. The biggest problem is buying all the ammo you'll want to shoot with this rig!

I have both and would hate to give up either one. Both are extremely accurate and function well with standard velocity ammo. You can't go wrong with either.

We use a 4X Leupold on the 45 LC barrel. Using 300 gr. bullets, we get 1" - 1 1/2" accuracy at 100 yards consistently. We liked the idea of a large, heavy bullet at subsonic speed. This load is very quiet from our suppressed Encore and packs a lot of horsepower in a small package.
