Re: how hard is it to get a LE demo letter for a FA as an FFL 1 SOT 3? what model gun do LEA's typically ask for?
Once again, second hand knowledge, I was friends with this SOT who had multiple letters for Demos from LEOs. He had to spend a "considerable" amount of money on ammo for them to shoot it up. Like upwards of 6~10K rounds per letter. He even had an MP7, and this is like almost 10 years ago.....

I can vouch for that. I have personal form 4's for customers that have been back for over a month now, while trust forms 4 submitted at the same time are still pending.

Re: Outback II core upgrade
Kinda hard to say... The old one was pretty leaded up. (like more than 15k rounds through it) Didn't shoot them back to back, also own other better cans now... I don't know I would say it sounded any better than the original stack when fresh... I would not do it expecting a performance upgrade, if t...

Re: Outback II core upgrade
I did a one piece upgrade. Not bad, not great. My original Outback II was pretty full of lead, so I didn't have much to loose. Finish is different than the original, so is the OD, so it looks a bit odd. Pretty loud FRP, after that it sounds decent. Not nearly as good as say my Sparrow, but do not re...

Re: Removing an SBR from the scope of the NFA
Not exactly the same situation, but some years ago I had a LMT 203 receiver I bought as title I. Had done the form 1 after. I wasn't enjoying it though, because it was the rail mounted kind and it kept on bending all rails I would put it on, including Larue and DD. Long story short, I bought a barre...

New Form 4s
Has anyone used the new forms yet?
Can you send 2 forms in (for 2 items) with one responsible person questionnaire or do you need two of those?
Also how many fingerprint form are required??? Do have to sent 2 or 4 cards for 2 NFA items?
Thanks!

Re: Threaded Barrels That Can't Be Found
Excellent suggestions. I would strongly recommend NOT doing the extensions. They will void any suppressor warranty the second you strap it onto an extended barrel. Our barrels are all warrantied and insured. I was thinking we will start with the: 1. Walther PPS 9mm 2. XDM (There is no 3.5. There is...

I've never seen crimped 40S&W... Plenty of 9mm and 223 of course.
I hate swaging primer pockets as well, but that's partially why I ended up with a pair of Dillon 1050s...

Wow! Awesome!
I have a 21, but a 21E is the bomb.
I love by the way the HK ejection pattern: in itself, a secondary weapon...
I also have a PKM I built on a Vltor, and those two, could not be any more different animals.
Congrats!!!!

Re: Cops find loaded gun in Tennessee woman’s vagina
I miss Hush. I didn't even notice who started the Thread. My search just got linked to LA1A Rocker's post and I read down from there. Yes, Hush is a good man who is filing Form 4s with St Peter trying to get us all passed the Pearly Gates prior to deadline. Hopefully none of us are so damaged that ...

Re: 51T Concussion Reduction Device like the FERFRANS CRD
Yes, I just to the Sco one, and I can confirm it works great with all my 51T breaks. Great redirection of gases, was shooting (on purpose) next to water puddle on top of an old drum. Zero water splash. It makes for a great little flamethrower on my SBR scar 16. The only drawback is how expensive it ...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion
So I have a Scorpion. And 2 UMP conversions (with 9, 40 and 45 parts). And MP5SD and MP5/40. No sig. I can tell you the scorpion is a Bargain at it's price. It shoots and feels like a UMP, only skinnier with better ergonomics. At a fraction of the HK price. Stock trigger sucks, but a $10 spring kit ...

Re: 40mm tubes and breaching shotguns
I had 2 LMT 40mm. One rail mounted, one barrel mounted. I sold the rail mounted one. I could not find a rail that would take abuse of repetitive use. Now I was actually using the thing probably 25 to 30 chalk and other rounds at a time, but all the free floated rails I had would bend over time.... L...

Cheap, cheap dual band, but you need a HAM license to legally use frequencies:

Re: 308 aero preision SBR
I have shot several AR10 SBRs over the years, and they all seemed heavy with a sharp recoil impulse. My Scar 17 SBR on the other hand is completely different. Side by side with my 16, it's only about 3/4 pound heavier, and recoils only a bit more. Very easy to keep on target and great to shoot suppr...
