Will this work on my 2010 Ti-Rant 45 model (serial number in the low 30's) or only models 2011+?

If so why is it? I know the earlier version used red loctite I think and made it harder to remove...is that right?

what about the Barrel Spacers, what's the reasoning for that? i read the description of the "Clutch" system, but i am confused.
