Leupold Scope
A buddy of mine said he would give me his Leupold "Rifleman" 3-9x40mm scope for 50 bucks, cause he just bought a better model and has no need for it. My question is this. Is this the bottom of the Leupold scopes? and is it even worth getting and putting on my .223 or should I just go ahead...

Well it looks like I'm the odd ball here, but I would say he used excesive force. I believe that the first round of shooting was within the limits of the law, to eliminate an immediate real (or percieved) threat. However to then go to the back of the vehicle and continue shooting, was overboard. We ...

I made the stupid mistake of actually telling my wife the truth about how many women I slept with before I meet her. Dumbest thing I have ever done. She doesn't seem to take into account that I was a single soldier traveling all over the world for 6yrs before she and I meet. I don't get women. But s...

WTF + 1000 When you read this story, its just seems like abuse of authority. Who in the world would put a mom in jail for 2yrs over something that dumb? But then again, I was a Correctional Officer at Telford Maximum Security Prison in New Boston TX.......and there were many guys there doin 5-20 ove...

Personal weapon on deployment?
We were told before we came here NOT to bring our own pistols. But now that I'm here I see quite a few guys with P.O.W.s How many of you guys get to bring your personal weapons with you. And what unit are you in that allows this. 1st Cav does not. Hell I really didin't think anyone was allowed to do...

I sure am glad you posted this. There is no way in hell I'm going to spend the little money I made over here on false advertisement and a substandard can. I really was thinking about buying a Gemtech, but I think when I get home I will be trying to find a KAC, or ACC for my HK Tac. .45 When are you ...

I have the FP in 22-250. This is my coyote huntin rifle, and I'm wondering where I would find a balistic chart on the different rounds for this rifle. I really dont know how far I can expect to be able to hit a point target the size of a dog. I only had the rifle 2 months before I got sent here to I...

from reading all the replies, I think my best bet is to wait for the reviews on the blackbox. I'm sure by the time I get home in November (thanks to some jackass extending us) there will be alot of info on its performance. From the way you guys talk though, it should be the best avaliable. If that e...

HK Tac. ?
My wife just got me the Tactical .45 for my birthday present. And I want to know what the quietest, best quality suppressor is for this pistol. I would like to for it to wisper, but I'm really not sure how realistic that is. I also want one that reasonably easy to maintain. Elksniper One more questi...

Dweezil, I'm a married E-6 and have been in the Army 12 yrs. I do live in Gov. quarters, but have always kept my weapons at home. And I was stationed at Riley from 98 thru 2002. So I know the weapons rules on riley very well, the only thing I needed to find out was the rules concerning silencers. Bu...

Thanks for all your replies. I will call my wife tonight and have her call the PMO and JAG to find out the exact regulations. Even if it ends up that I cannot take them to Kansas (which is where I am going to be stationed next), I still have a brother in Texas and I'll leave them in a safe at his ho...

Military Question
I'm new to the silencer world, so I'm wondering if I'm stationed in Texas right now where is legal to have a silencer......what if my next duty station is in Kansas. Do I have to get rid of them, or is there a way to take them with me because I HAVE to move there. I guess my question is this, are th...
