I shoot an M4-2000 in 6.8 on my 5.56 and have shot side-by-side with a person shooting an M4-2000 in 5.56. Observers reported no noticable difference.

How does this clarification from the ATF affect suppressor upgrades? I have an M4-2000 that I intended to upgrade to the Mod08 version. Can this still be done?
