Re: ar-15 .22 conversion with a silencer????

I've done it in mine a few times. A drop-in .22lr kit and my Gemtech out in front. Nice & quiet and I haven't noticed any probs with the can. I was only plinking soda cans so I don't know about keyholing.

Re: Integral Ruger pistol. Mark III or 22/45?

Here's my Ruger Mk3_22/45-TB-RP-Rail. I have a tension washer between the barrel & can. I removed the front lower accessory rail and I'm working on making a sleeve to get the barrel to match the supressor dia. Anyone know how to mold Kydex? http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd239/roughneck12345...

Re: Silencerco's Osprey 45 Review

posted by Wahnsinn "Also have a 1/2x28 piston coming in so I can toss it on my 9mm XD Service Model." So my question is can the piston be changed to 1/2x28 to allow 9mm or even 22LR to be shot through the Osprey 45? I know it's not optimized the smaller calibers, but has anyone tried this?...

Re: 2 Liter Bottle Threads

I know this is an old post but I just saw it. Maybe there's a newer one. To the original post you'll have to cut your own threads because nothing else is threaded this course. A 3/4 x 8tpi pipe coupling is kinda close but not really. Try 3/4 x 6 tpi (maybe 5 tpi). I know it's actually an Internation...

Not to throw any fuel on this one, but my trust is set up as a revolcable living trust, set up by a lawyer in my state. What does the O-ring contact? Does it seal up against the suppressor? It could be just to make sure gasses don't come out toward the gun, but the threads should take care of that. None of mine have o-rings.

Just wondering... are these the first suppressors for anyone or additional ones? If I already have a suppressor (through a trust), would that help speed things along once it's pending with an examiner? If it's the same person (me), and the same trust. Shouldn't that make it easier & faster? Just...

If you have access to a sonic cleaning tank? It will clean anything I've ever seen. Then all you have to do is oil it, if needed.

They're addictive. I got a Prodigy (22LR) last summer I have it on a Sig Mosquito. I sending a 10/22 bull barrel out this week to get it threaded & fluted. Anyway, I too, have wondered if I could buy a larger caliber can and use it on smaller calibers. Like using a .223 can on a .22LR gun/ammo? ...

I've now seen about 5 incarnations of this device, counting palladiums. I think it was originally designed by a guy in Venuzuala back in 1988. Don't know if FSSG bought it or what. You can go to the USPattentOffice.gov and see/download his design. It's public record. Having the plans isn't illegal (...

GEMTEC sells threaded Mosquito barrels, $150 shipped.

I already have a Mosquito Tactical with threaded bbl so I bought one of their metric-to-1/2x28 adaptors for $45 shipped. It threads on over the metric part (with locktite) and looks like a factory job. Got it in about 3 days.

.22 on a .223?

Hi, I searched but didn't get any good results. Could a .22LR can be used on an AR (.223) ? I think .223 is a little bit bigger than a .22, so maybe the other way around?

Just curious, if I buy a OEM Glock barrel to have treaded, Will it have some other guns' serial number on it? I know only the receiver counts in the USA, but does Glock import sterile barrels for warranty replacement, etc?

Also, which OEM barrel would I get, the G34 or G17L ?

Cool, that results page was what I was looking for. I don't know what "unweighted" means though, but it looks like the results are mostly consistant in all catagories. I don't want to outthink things, just let the results speak for themselves. It looks like AAC Evo-9 for my first can. Thanks

I am definately still learning, but they make many of their suppressors from titanium yet keep the price fair. Titanium absorbs heat better than anything doesn't it, and that should help it stay quieter. Plus it's light and doesn't require a recoil compensator to work on Browning-action pistols (lik...
