Air dry high temp cerakote is best for rifle cans that will get run hot. Krylon is fine for pistol caliber and 22lr cans.

Re: How to register a can that will be inherited?
It's tax free on a form 5 even if it has to cross state lines?
If so, that sounds great, and thank you for your response.

How to register a can that will be inherited?
My 68 yr old father just purchased an AAC cyclone in WI and wants to know how he should register it so that it can most easily be transferred to me in MT when he is no longer able to use it some time in the future. I have all of my NFA items on a form 4, and he wants to know if he can register it in...

Re: Do you own a watch ?
When I was in NYC I bought a really nice Folex submariner for 80$ in china town. First shop I asked. Dude pulled it out of a brown paper bag. They don't keep them on the racks. I wear it anytime I'm in a suit. Which is not often. I get compliments on it and just laugh to myself. Cell phone for every...

Re: Suppressors on carbon fibers barrels?
Yes, there were several guys at the sniper hide this year shooting cans on carbon fiber barrels. I was shooting with Greg from Proof Research and they make very nice carbon wrapped barrels. http://proofresearch.com/heres-proof/ Watch the second video. They take the barrel off and beat a cinder block...

Paperwork is approved, but dealer can't give it to me??
I sent in my paperwork last april on an SBR and it's been approved now for over a month. When I sent in my paperwork my dealer had a partner on his SOT who died. So my dealer sent in new paperwork for a new license that has only his name on it. He claims that because he has not received his new lice...

SBR 9mm AR suppressed. Cheaper to shoot and very nice and quiet. Pistol ammo should always be very prevalent.
Get a LWD lower and 31rd Glock mags. Oh ya, good luck with that.

Re: My OBR
I had a buddy buy a surefire 308 can for his precision rifle and spend twice as much as other cans because he'd "heard" so much about surefire having almost no POI shift. He had 6" shift at 100yrds. You're going to get some shift with any can. He could have spent a lot less money for ...

Re: Pisto SPR for suppressor use
I run a 14.5" Noveske switch block with 762SD and have run it through 3 MGM Iron man matches without fail. It has a gas buster charging handle, but with the overbore can it doesn't gas me at all. On the suppressed setting it's like shooting a laser gun. I can spot my hits at any range and make ...

Re: Prodigy & Tactical Solutions SB-X Barrel
I own both, and use a small strip of duct tape/gorilla tape around the threaded end where the outer tube mate to the inner core.
Never had a problem.
Even if you unscrew the outer tube you can still grab the inner core and thread it off.

Re: Can that can handle full power 10mm ?
The Double Tap 200 and 230gr WFNGC have a Gas Check on the back of the bullet. I would not shoot any bullet with a gas check through a can with the potential of coming off and damaging the can. I've shot the 135gr 10mm from DT as well, and it was highly inaccurate out of my G20. Shot all over the da...

Re: Bullet drop through suppressor?
Point of impact POI shift is really only common with precision rifles due to barrel harmonics. However the evo and tirants have adjustable POI by pulling out against the recoil spring and turning the can to adjust the poi, so it is possible. My guess is you are mashing the trigger ever so slightly. ...

Re: Savage Cancels 300 AAC Blackout
I shoot 147gr 9mm out of my 10" AR upper with Tirant out to 400yrds.
Sure I get two feet of wind drift if it's blowing, but seriously, the 300 blk can push way past 200yrds.
I think some of you need to spend more time shooting and less time on the internet.
