.22 or .45 suppression gives most satisfaction.
Bon Chance.
Also, 45? I would vote .22 and 9mm myself.

Someone else will probably disagree with me vehemently. So, I like the styling of the old Spectre better and you will lose the front and rear cap and it will be in the new style. After prolonged use, it will be easier to get the baffles out. If you are going to do this, please contact me first, I h...

I wouldn't. It should be ok if you load subs, but you are basically at a .40 now.montanabound wrote:Just wondering if the SWR HEMS 2 can handle or if it's rated for 10mm Auto?

Re: Looks like AFT just raided SDTA
I saw something on this yesterday. Apparently, the internet is saying that the ATF considers threaded tubes to be silencers, regardless of their marketing and/or intended sales purpose. Seeing that there have been no rulings, as of the new year: - wtf has changed? - why would the ATF go this route?...

I was going to pick one of these up a few months ago when I had money in hand and I passed. Now I regret that decision and need to try to get the funds together by July. I will throw a 3 lug on it and it will be a dedicated can for my Scorpion SBR. I was thinking the same for myself back in January...

I read a lot of SciFi. It's well known. A few years back I started reading a book called "The Expanse". Last Fall I found that SyFy had produced a miniseries based on the book. Now I don't have cable or satellite. Anything we watch is streamed which is the way that things are going. If yo...

Where did you get with this? I have a bolt gun with a 12" barrel and use the RedDot and it works well. It DOES NOT work well in my AR with the 8.5" barrel. Thanks Davis C, Even though that info was created based on a 16.5” barrel assumption, it is actually very informative and helpful to m...

Re: My Suppressor is STUCK (In ATF/SOT hell)! How do I save it?
It's not a paid xfer if sent to another SOT dealer via F3. But regardless, the dealer can't even do that now, due to his renewal problems. Who knows how long his renewal problems will get resolved, if ever. Cancel that signed F4 and $200 check if you can. Start over again with another dealer in goo...

Re: My Suppressor is STUCK (In ATF/SOT hell)! How do I save it?
It wouldn't matter if it were a problem with his SOT. It is a PAID transfer out.
Is there an issue with his FFL?
If he is an individual FFL and his license is expired, it is in his name and it is a PAID transfer out.
If he is a Corp FFL, well ... there might be issues.

% burn of powder in a given length barrel
So how important is % burn in the barrel for suppressor use? When working on loads for a 45 ACP Encore (+P+) and a Bolt action 458 Socom, I was getting flame outs every 25 - 50 rounds as un-burned powder would ignite in the suppressor with a nice long pencil sized flame out the front of the suppress...

I don't see a need to use the dip unless you are cleaning a 22 suppressor.
