Hi, I am currently preparing some brass for my 300 whisper. I built the rifle two years ago on a cz action but just starting to play with it last week. The chamber has been cut with a PTG reamer marked 30/221, the dies are reddings and the barrel come from Border barrels in Scotland. Not much of an ...

Hello Variable556, You should contact Border Barrels in Scotland and ask them if they are still selling their P-Max. It was a device that mesure pressure from a rifle by calculating its acceleration during recoil. I have got one of these in France. www.border-barrels.com info@border-barrels.com D-mon

Thank you for your answers.
Davo5o, I had a look at this falcon scopes, how do you rate them compaired to leupold? (I have a leupold on my whisper, and the quality and repeatabiliy of the "click" is hard to beat with them).

Quote D mon I am also using a New Zealand made silencer with a ratio of 50/50 in my 308 winch and my 300 whisper. They both work well, but for larger bullets like the 44 I think the first design is the best. Am curious if the mentioned system above is PES or some other? Hello Trex, yes, on the 308 ...

Do you "click" or do you "Mildot"?

Hi,
I am new on this forum.
I have not been through all the precedent posts but I have the following question:
When you are shooting subsonic rounds like 300 whisper from 100 to 200 yards, do you prefer to use the turrets on your scope or the mildot reticle?

Many thanks for the answers.

Hello, I have used a suppressor on my 44 mag rifle with an aluminium "muzzle brake" wrapped up with brass wire netting in the primary chamber and stainless baffles after that. That was very efficient. i would say that the ratio air/ baffle in the case was 25/75. I am also using a New Zeala...

Here is a Z-Jet Dual on a .308 bolt gun. Just how low can you mount a scope? Cause it would have to be pretty darn low to have the can block the view. http://www.canadiantactical.ca/Images/ZJetDual.jpg Actually the BR Tuote T8 is a larger diameter than the Z-Jet and it doesn't block the view throug...

How does yours shoot?

Is it a standard factory barrel or a custom one with a faster twist?

. . . a ruger 77/44. The accuracy was there with supersonic loads, but in subsonic, accuracy was not so good. But I still have to work a descent load for accuracy. Does anyone shoot a ruger 77/44 with subsonic load in its original barrel and get good results? Did anyone had is barrel changed for a ...

Hello Tukka, Nice rifle; I had the same silencer (reflex t8 compact) for a ruger 77/44. The accuracy was there with supersonic loads, but in subsonic, accuracy was not so good, and it was to noisy. I got stopson mounting one of there supressor on it, and now sound reduction is fantastic. At subsonic...
