Re: How do you clean up after using ant-seize?

In my younger years, when I had more cash I used that Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber to clean up messes.
Now I use non-chlorinated brake cleaner and I buy it by the case.

Re: LMT M203 mount options?

I own a LMT's rail mounted M203 on a LMT MRP.
My two cents....
#1 the rail mounted version is easy to remove when not in use,
a big plus when you want to drop the weight of your weapon.
#2 a standard barrel mount M203 makes a more compact weapon system
as a rail mounted M203 hangs lower when mounted.

Re: Old Sionics can questions

Correct that it is an older style can....but they do suppress nicely. If you shoot sub-sonic rounds...the weapon's bolt makes more noise. As for complaints about holding on too the suppressor.....I think that is a benefit. It is far more safer and more accurate to shoot it that way then just using t...

Oh well ... hind sight is always much better than future forecasting ! My neighbor was registering auto sears whenever he had spare cash, back before the cut-off date on registration. Re: Original MAC 10/45acp suppressor

I own two original powder springs, both have RPB suppressors. I wish at the time I had bought them (early 80's) I had tried to find original MAC suppressors. Collector value aside....I would opt today for a MK9 design. The original Sionics suppressor for the MAC is to most here...very old school. It...

Re: Diameter choice

I think the only 2" suppressor design that made good use of that width was the MK9 series.
Where the blast chamber stretched the entire length of the tube and the inner core handled the baffles.

I'd soak the rusty areas with Breakfree CLP and just brush them out.
Enjoy it the way it is and just plan to do a re-finish sometime later in it's life.
My MAC's are bullet hoses and get the mostly abused at the range and
I would think your's would be similarly enjoyed too. 8)
