Where to get a lever gun threaded
Need to get an older Marlin lever gun threaded. Have no clue who does this. I know Tornado Tech doesn't do them and they are my 1st choice. Anyone have any recommendations? I also want to shorten the barrel and the feed tube to make it more handy.

Re: Is this just someone talking s--t on AAC.
He's the one that decided to sell his company. Maybe now they will hire more folks to do repair work and not have 10 week turnaround times. Maybe they won't overcharged for their products. Over $100 for a mount just to attach a suppressor? Rediculous, when it takes $1 in materiel and an hour on the...

FNP 45 Threaded barrel and suppressor sights $250
Bought an FNP45 tactical clone that a friend had done up. Barrel is an EFK. Round count is under 500. I also have a set of tall sights from Ameriglo. They are tall and will clear a can just fine. I have no cans and need the $$$ to buy some tools for a project. Asking $250 shipped for everything. I c...

Re: 300 BLACKOUT scope poll
one thing that keeps me away from leupold 1-4/5x scopes is the eye relief. It seems to have about a 1" difference from low to high magnification. On some guns that is ok, on others its a burden and really slows things down. If it wasn't for this, I would say leupold hands down, but I just can't...

What length of gas system are folks running for standard vel. and for subs? Anyone have info on gas port diameter? Anyone run a piston system with the 300blackout?

Re: Lathe preferences
Hi everyone- I'm a newb and I know it's probably been answered a few times here but.. I have been working on an inherited Craftsman lathe. I actually started tinkering with it way back in high school after my old man passed. I used and abused it while learning some of the basics but ended up breaki...

you should also have some water purification/filtration in your set up. If you have rivers/creeks/ponds etc in the area you could cut back on the amount of water you transport in favor of treating water in the field for use. And redundancy is great here as well. Get some of those kill everything tab...

so basically, threading a can for 223 would be ok as long as the wall thickness of the tube is a bit thicker? Its been awhile since I have seriously thought about building a can, and last time I was on here I thought I saw mention of screw together cans being somehow inferior to welded ones in rifle...

Threading end caps vs welding ??
I am on the verge of a F1, and have kind of wondered for a while when you should just thread your end caps, and when you should weld. Also, when welding, what kind of weld/technique should be employed? I guess this mainly applies to 223 cans, but what about to pistol cal cans? Can one get away with ...

was on the receiving end of some hot brass out of a f/a G3, wasn't very pleasant. that crap hurts when it hits you in the neck. BTW i was a good 20ft away. And My PTR throws brass somewhere in the neighbor hood of 30ft or better. If you want to save your brass to reload, I would get one of those gun...

WTB Paulsen Silencer Books
Not sure if this is where it should go, but I am looking to do a Form 1 can or two in the future, and need some reading material to help me with my design. If anyone has these books and wants to sell them for a reasonable price, let me know.

Re: 9X20 from Harbor Freight
Don't forget the 300.00 to 400.00 of tools that you also need to purchase to help you use the lathe. Calipers, boring bars, thread gauges, drill bits etc. I would plan on 1-2X what you paid for the lathe in tooling & acessories +1 lathes are cheap compared to the amount of tools needed to use t...

Suppressing a PTR-91
Just picked up a previously loved PTR-91, and am a total noob on HK's and clones. I am thinking about trying to save for a suppressor this summer for it. Would this be an alright platform to suppress? I am pretty sure that it will be, but just not 100% sure and couldn't find much via the google. Is ...
