Re: Flash hider for M4-1000?

I ran across this looking for a similar answer for the 07 M42000. It is an 18 tooth flash hider. They are a little pricy and a little harder to find but that is what you need.

Re: Sig 226 22lr threading the barrel.

Yeh, and they require some fitting. Not too big of a deal but if I pay $150 for a plinking barrel I want it to work. It is also out of stock. All in all I didnt shoot the kit much because it is nothing special. Seemed cheap compared to my MK3 that I use suppressed. The last round slide catch lever d...

Re: Sig 226 22lr threading the barrel.

I thought it would be like a Musquito, P22, or M&P 45 but it looks like this barrel is solid stainless steel. There is no thread cover on the end. I can probably post picture tomorrow to better illustrate. This barrel looks solid.

Re: S&W M&P9 factory barrel in a M&P9 compact.

Just FYI I have both a M&P 9mm and a M&Pc 9mm barrel. There appears to be a small increase in OD in the area where slide meets the barrel. Besides that there is no difference. Looking at them it is very slight. Almost the diameter of electrical tape. My advice to you if you if you use it wou...

Sig 226 22lr threading the barrel.

Well, I got a 226 22 a few years ago. I mainly got it for the aluminum lower with beavertail to use with my 40 upper that use to go on a heavy ST lower. Anyway, I only fired the upper once until now and really want to put my tac 65 on there. I found on another thread that these have threads on them ...

I followed your form 1 thread and finally got a 50. Since then I have been considering building one myself. The only thing stopping me was the question of if API ammo was safe to fire through it. Looks like you have no problems at all. Now that I think about it I dont think an API baffle strike woul...

My above being said I did make several useful brakes and a side charging handle for my AK which pretty much saved me money equal or greater than I paid for the lathe.

That is awesome thanks for the info. Wasnt trying to hijack but I saw the student copy option and was excited. My wife has been doing autocad work since 2005 for several different places. She has a degree in interior design but has been taking continued education classes at a local community college...

Re: How's the HF 7x10 lathe?

I bought a 7x10 a year ago and it is handy but that is it. I wish I had a bigger one to learn on. I build little muzzle devices on mine but it is a pain. The tool post handle snapped off almost right away. I considered CNCing the thing to make 50bmg bullets out of copper grounding rods. Then I decid...

Stupid question bc I am new to CNC stuff but looking at this is there a way to import this into gcode or something to run in mach 3? I am looking to order a grizzly x3 type mill and CNC it like right away. This program looks really cool.

Re: 5.5" Noveske KX3 = suppressor?

It is important to note that the bulgi 4 part has two holes drilled in the expantion / blast chamber. I did a similar thing when building a solid krink type break. I took a solid length of stainless, threaded one end, and made a cone in the other. I cut the id for the threads a little further than I...

I can almost guarantee that while it may have been perceived to have happened as described, the actual events were far from what was presented. Had this actually happened (cuffed and face down) because several law enforcement officers "thought" illegally surpressed weapons were being fire...

I have been watching this thread because I was considering building a MP5k clone but then saw some good deals on BT9s. I understand the hangup is getting the adapter for the SWR cans. Also, anyone fire both and find the MP5k any quieter because of the delayed action?

Re: How bad is it to become a manufacture

On the note of the NFA ignorance act as I call it passed by many states, it should not be a problem. The only case law that I have ever heard of that says otherwise is the Smith case involving marijuana. In that case I see a bid difference since it was not legal in that case to grow marijuana and se...

Re: How bad is it to become a manufacture

Hmm, then it sounds that unless I am going to be selling the designs that I am better off just to pay the tax each time and enjoy the fact that I can possibly make a $600-$900 before tax can for like $30 plus labor and $200 tax. I guess there is nothing to say that if I land a good design that I sti...

The talk on Ar15 was that his Kevin's wife was fired first. Ouch. That's a tough one to come home to every night, I can definitely see how that could snowball at home. Maybe that was a first step in saving themselves 8 million? I wrote that. I heard it over a year ago so the two incidents are very ...

I hate to say this but after reading about all these problems with this place, has anyone thought to contact the ATF on this place. I know most people dont like them but if they are conducting a shotty business with an NFA license maybe that needs to be reevaluated. Just sayin.

Does AAC make a adapter that fits 21 tooth M42000(old)/M41000 ? I got screwed by CMMG and they say that their adapter will no longer support suppressors and they will not offer a replacement.
