So you want a short barrel, but you don't like the look of the short barrel??? They do have thread protectors, so they won't look exactly like the website shows, with the threads visible. If it's just the matte finish you don't like, Tactical Solutions can probably make you one without that. Talk to...

Having just bought a Buckmark (and I've shot my buddy's P22 a bit) I would say go with the Buckmark. It's more accurate, better built, and more reliable by far. It's also cheaper; I got the Buckmark for $279 at Sportsman's Warehouse, the P22 was significantly more, although I don't remember the pric...

nice
Nice job on the digital camo! Did you buy templates or make them yourself?
What struck me is that while your camo job doesn't hide the gun itself (of course) it does an excellent job of disguising the suppressor. I didn't realize you had a can on the gun until I looked closer.

Semi-auto 22LR action mods for subsonics?
I just picked up a Marlin 7000 that needs some work for cycling subsonic ammo. I know there are a lot of tricks out there for 10/22's that I may be able to apply to my Marlin. Can you guys suggest any? Besides my list below, am I missing anything to try? I haven't tried any of the following yet, but...

http://www.hi-desertdog.com has them in blue for $99 and stainless for $109
I'm not affiliated or even recommending them, I was just looking at their website the other day.

thanks
Thanks F.2, excellent post and instructions. I will try that with mine. NBJamie99, thanks for your opinion of the Trail-lite barrels. I've been trying to decide between a 4" and 5.5" threaded Trail-lite, or just threading my factory 5.5" barrel. I like the weight savings of the Trail-lite, but not s...

I just picked up one of these Marlin 7000's as well. I haven't decided whether to have the barrel shortened to 16" when I get it threaded; it's 18" right now so not much difference really. Mine won't cycle the subsonic PMC Moderator or Aquila SE ammo, but does fine with Federal bulk hi-vel from Wal-...

?
I'm finding the same with the Buckmark I just bought. Took the barrel off and put it back on again, no need to change the sights.
Besides, sorry 40G27, that Neos looks like a Power Rangers toy; I don't think I could stand to own one.
Way more expensive than a Buckmark too.

powderburn, do you mind sharing what hiccups you had with the paperwork? Anything unexpected, or just some mistakes on filling out the forms?
Thanks.
Thanks.

dieselten's got the right idea! I've been wanting to do the same on a 45 colt. Lots of Marlin 1894's out there, and I could use the same can on my MechTech 45 Auto carbine. Are you thinking to shoot subsonics or full power ammo from that 30-30? With subsonics, maybe you would be better going with on...

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. A second question, which I saw raised on another post but not really answered, is whether the silencer I'm buying needs to be listed on the trust when I send it to the ATF. Of course it will be on the trust after it is approved, but before I actually own it, do I n...

Certification of trust?
I'm still trying to figure all this out, but I'm on the brink... :D Where can I find a "certification of trust" form; should I just expect the notary to have one available? If I'm sending in a copy of the notarized trust, do I need to send the certification of trust as well? Seems like that would be...

also your dealer has it in stock, which means you'd have it in your hot little hands the quickest. :D That's the one big advantage I see right now. I talked to the dealer tonight and was satisfied with the sound of his personal Outback II (which was really carboned up pretty bad). He said he had sh...

Outback II vs Warlock or Pilot?
I've been talking to a local SOT dealer who has the Outback II in stock for $325. I've asked him about a Warlock, but he has to check on the price first. I haven't heard any of these three cans; but want my first purchase to be the right one. Is the Warlock or Pilot worth waiting and paying an extra...

Buckmark opinions?
So what are your opinions on the Buckmark line of pistols, as a suppressor host and as a plinking/target gun? I already have an old Ruger Mk I with the 6 7/8" target barrel, which is a total tackdriver. From a rest I can hit clay targets on the berm at 100 yards 4 out of 5 shots, and it feeds absolu...

I have an old Iver Johnson TP22 which is very similar, but it's a die cast piece of poo. I like the shape and style, but haven't wanted to spend the $$$ for a real walther; this Bersa looks like a good alternative.

The MechTech carbine conversion unit is worth a look. Very accurate, and mine has been totally reliable. The downside is they look "different" and you have to have a Glock or 1911 to mount it to. (Your Glock or 1911 doesn't have to be a 45, as long as it can take .45 mags.) Someone on the board post...

I'm new here and don't have much experience with suppressors, but quite a bit with reloading and wildcats. Since you're talking about wildcats, I'm assuming you reload. It's certainly not optimum, but have you tried loading heavy bullets in your current .308 with fast pistol powder? I've worked up a...
