Active duty USMC; I do Operational Testing for the Corps. I've tested some cool systems, but don't want to bring up the cans I've worked with b/c of politics. Been reading ST daily for a couple years, but rarely post. I'm thinking of getting more involved on the forum. Figured this would be a good p...

That was pretty funny. Thanks, for the link. That’s another thing about the 9:12 project. I don’t believe in bringing the county together; I don’t want unity I want division. There are too many people with too many different ideas and there all beginning to clash with one another. There’s 5...

Are any 10mm loads considered subsonic? Yes, CCI Blazers are subsonic and cheap for target shooting. Hornady also makes this load: 10MM Auto, 200 gr. JHP/XTP Velocity (fps) / Energy (ft-lbs) Muzzle ------- 50 yd ------- 100 yd 1050/490 --- 994/439 --- 948/399 Both remain subsonic when I shoot them.

I have a Glock 20C. I had EFK thread a barrel for me and shoot an EVO 45 on it. I have a 21lb spring that I use since I normally shoot hot Double Tap rounds. Cycles every time, even with the mild CCI blazer ammo, so the booster must work very well. The can blocks my sights, but I have a laser light,...

Hard to pick up sarcastic tone from written text!

I had fun ranting and raving though! Let me try my on emoticon:

Any can will fail if pushed far enough. I have seen enough about the Spectre to be convinced that it is a LOT stronger than other 22LR cans. You pay the price in weight, but you can pass it to your son's son, knowing that it stood up to LR, HMR, and WMR abuse while you enjoyed using it. And, you wer...
