Re: Pac Lite Liner Coming Out

The same thing happened to me on my gemtech oasis, which is built on those uppers.

I was real happy about the whole thing when it happened.

Re: Should US have assassinated Wikileaks guy?

Damn those who reveal the true ugliness of our system! What right do they have to enlighten us? It is simple. Those who are the most "vested" our current system are those who wish to protect its continuation, no matter how corrupt it may be. Sadly, those vested individuals are the only ones who have...

Re: CCW, printing and the general public...

I "C"CW a big-ass full size all-steel 45, and it isn't a thin 1911. I'm 5'7" (and a half  ), so my stature isn't exactly helping me to hide my sidearm. I do, however carry in an IWB holster to keep the naughty end of my boomstick from peeking out from the bottom of my shirt and scaring the nati...

I see yours gets rust on it just like mine. My press, powder measure, and dies all have rust on them now.

Pisses me off to no end.

Re: Kahr Arms WTF?

Ported barrels are hella ghetto to the max. I own and carried a Glock 20C for quite some time. For me, the porting helped in many ways, but it wasn't all hunky dory. Wouldn't you agree that it is more appropriate to allow the user to weigh the advantages/disadvantages against one another rather tha...

Re: Subsinic deer kill

Also: When people ask me what it sounds like when you shoot something large with a subsonic bullet I always say that it sounds like releasing an air hose from the compressor followed by the sound of a paddle smacking a large steak hanging from a rope. Your video captures those two sounds nicely. :D

Re: Subsinic deer kill

How 'bout that... Looks exactly like what happened when I shot a deer a short while back with a 225gr Outlaw bullet at ~1020fps out of my whisper.

Great video. Thanks!

Why does any government agency exist?
Infringing on the right to keep and bear arms seems to be a justifiable reason for maintaining the subject agency.

Clearly there is a problem. My element is one of my most impressive cans.

I'm interested to see what the problem is here.

I think that the point was simply to respond to customers' requests for info. They did a find job of it too.

Re: Looking for an interesting Rimfire

I would love to see a shotgun trainer with shells that hold a single 22LR that you can replace, Years back there was a fellow who made shotshell adopters that would fire rimfire and centerfire pistol cartridges, I think he passed away and someone else bought up the remaining inventory, I tried goog...

Re: Rem Model-7 - black or Camo?

I'll be using one for a lightweight woods gun, so my vote is camo. Solid black is not a color that is found in the woods very often. Also, I find that I "baby" my camo guns less because they don't show blemishes as much as solid colors do. Edit to add: Looks like it is 50/50! Clearly you'll have to ...

Excellent Customer Service provided by Tornado Tech

When my Spectre became stuck on my T.T. threaded FiveSeven barrel I used a strap wrench to remove it. The threaded adapter came off with the Spectre endcap. I sent it in to T.T. to rectify the problem. They responded in a very timely manner, and informed me that there was a galling issue due to simi...

Re: Custom Barnes 110 Tac-X bullets

What's accuracy like on this 110gr bullet? So far it has been really crappy for me. I've tried two different COALs and different charges, but I'm getting really large (like 4" at 50 yards) groups. I'm shooting them in a 1:7" twist whisper barrel on a Rem 700. The same gun will shoot 110g sierra var...

I rarely pay for fuel with cash. I did today, and as I was approaching my total $ I expected it to start slowing down 10 cents prior to my total like it used to when I routinely paid with cash (the 90's). It started slowing down when I hit $1 before my total! The last dollar of gas took about 3 minu...

Water must be rotated just like food. It does go flat and can spoil from bacteria or other contaminants. Most of my "survival" books suggest rotating your water every 3 or 4 years.
