Re: Swatted the hornets nest last night. Please read.
Nice, so only people exactly like you, 2phast4u, get to own guns. Sure seems exactly like what the founders had in mind. Also, what the eff does a quote often misattributed to Marie Antoinette have to do with anything? "They are the ones that are being the most vocally anti-gun and it is a free coun...

Re: Good Buffer Tube for Magpul CTR Friction Lock
Very few people, especially on a board like this where a lot of people build their own, are going to use a commercial tube. Why is this? What's the advantage of a Milspec tube? Why do we have two specs anyway? Sorry for hijacking the post.[/quote] The two specs is because it was cheaper to make com...

Re: Plastic bullets through a suppressor?
Does anybody have any experiance with TNJ (Total Nylon Jacket) bullets? I guess the nylon is just the coating in place of a copper jacket. Safe in suppressors?? Thanks. Link? Re: CMMG 22 Kit - Action Noise
Buffer behind the bolt so that when it stops it is rubber on steel not steel on steel. ETA: For the buffer, you kind of need to make one, basically look at where the kit bottoms out on the return stroke, the bolt assembly strikes the top back of the plate to come to a stop. An o-ring/surgical tubing...

You'll need to know if the stock you bought is Mil-spec or commercial (the diameters differ), then buy the appropriate receiver extension, the endplate, the castle nut, carbine buffer and spring. http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/288/buffertubes.jpg Something like this has all the parts you need: h...

Just do a search, it has been rehashed many times. Poor suppression in comparison to others, mine was incredibly difficult to take apart. There are far better cans out there for the same price, I spent another $250 just to have my mite recored with xcaliber baffles.

I've only bought, but every time I've bought by sending a check (overnight from bank via online banking) and waiting for it to clear. So far I've never had a seller refuse that payment. Nothing is going to clear forever anyway. As I buyer I'd be way more concerned about non-existent NFA being sold. ...

Re: Combining EOTech with Chinese magnifier
That thing just looks like a bad idea, your best bet is to find the mount you like (see larue http://www.laruetactical.com/qd-pivot-mount-short-aimpoint-or-hensoldt-magnifier) and then a magnifier to fit in it. If you were ready to buy at $160 for that contraption, I'd take a good look at the primar...

You know, in hindsight you might be thinking of aerogel, which is awesomely awesome in person. Expensive on ebay, but on my short list of cool things to own.
