Re: ATF - Data Entry Answering Phones?

I just call to make sure it goes pending and get the examiner's name for future reference and for NFA Tracker. I will say the ladies answering the phone have always been very patient and to the point. For some reason I imagine the NFA branch as controlled chaos in my mind with that much paperwork fl...

Re: Certification of Compliance form? 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B)

My first 4 stamps went through without one on a trust and no issues. I now include it though in every new packet I send. It's stupid easy and doesn't require a notary so why not?

Same....

Latest Form 3 is past 6 weeks now too. Do Form 3s on MGs just take longer than SBRs and Suppressors?

Re: Do these Silencerco ads seem like a good idea to ANYONE?

Why not have various Ads showing individual profiles of how an owner uses a silencer to their benefit? I think showing someone how their existing shooting activity can be improved by using a silencer/suppressor would be massively more beneficial then what you shouldn't do. Couple of thoughts come to...

Re: .22LR sub sonic ammo questions

Who is accepting backorders? http://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/2362 Grafs is great with backorders. They don't charge till they ship so you just order up and wait. Just got in 15k primers from them right in the middle of this whole "scare". It's like Christmas when Graf's backor...

Re: .22LR sub sonic ammo questions

I had two boxes of Remington and it was just painful through one of my 22's. Finally had to finish those off in the MKIII which eats ANYTHING and still I had one dud per box of 100. CCI SVs are hands down the best 22s I've ever tried and this was before I had my first suppressor. I use to have a nic...

Re: ATF continued.......

Anybody else notice that received to pending is taking a LOT longer? Stamps I did last year avg 2 weeks between check cashed and pending. Now my most recent has been over 4 weeks from cashed and still not pending in the system. Is this normal or are they actually slowing down?

Re: odd caliber question

Since 7mm is .284 any 30 cal suppressor that is magnum capable should be suitable. SWR's new 762 Specwar is 30 cal Magnum capable so it might be worth a call to them. Think when it's released this would be a good bang for the buck magnum capable QD can. http://www.swrsuppressors.com/products/rifle/s...

Re: Modern Suppressors for the M10 45?

I like the looks of the Thompson Machine SG... SG's quiet, I like mine, but big. Much different feel with a short can on my M11/9, 9mm AR, and Uzi. I am really digging my trident with tri-lug now for anything other than mag dumps, so I might naturally favor the SWR Octane with a fixed adapter. Frie...

Re: Modern Suppressors for the M10 45?

+1 on the Bowers CAC45, with the numerous thread attachments, you can't go wrong..... The Bowers looks nice but it's huge with all aluminum baffles. Has anyone tried a pistol can on a subgun here? I'd really like to find someone using a TiRant on a MAC or UZI but have not so far. The Viper keeps co...

Modern Suppressors for the M10 45?

After a few SBRs and Suppressors I finally bought my first SMG. While it's pending for what I'm sure will be the worst wait yet I'm suppressor shopping. I am in-line for a LAGE upper so thread patterns aren't limited to the stock 7/8-9 threads. What's important to me is: flexibility, staying tight, ...

Re: 8" 300 Blackout - Muzzle Brake or Flash Hider?

Thanks guys. I was mostly wanting to avoid any ringing first and foremost but the 7.62 brakes are OOS everywhere. These are toys so I don't plan on shooting them a whole lot at night. The only gun for that might see dusk shooting will get a flash hider (coyote gun). Also call me weird or a wimp but ...

8" 300 Blackout - Muzzle Brake or Flash Hider?

While I patiently await my Form 1 for my 300 Blackout SBR I'm contemplating Muzzle devices. This will be an 8" Noveske barrel with an AAC SDN6. Do I need a Muzzle Brake for this to protect the Suppressor baffles? I'll be shooting Sub and Super rounds probably 80/20 mix. If the Flash hider is suffici...
