is a month from cashing check to any sort of status the norm? I just called to see if i was in the mix yet and no such luck. The 200.00 is the easy part i wouldn't mind it as bad if you got some serious action. I guess though if you look at from a return on you money, if it takes 6mths $200.00 turns...

if you did use valve retainers which dirrection would all of it stack, and could the valve springs be the spacers?
I have tons of them out of powerstroke ford engines, cummins, and cat sitting around.

wish my local shop would get their class 3, his supplier handles all sorts of NFA items.
What more does it take for someone to go class 3 any idea?

New to the forum and by no means a gunsmith, but thought maybe i could share my experience. With the three rifles i have that are ported, i did not see a difference in accuracy. In fact removing the flinch factor made me more accurate. Just my .02
