Make sure you barrel has the proper twist if you are going to shoot subsonic rounds.

Re: loose can?
I have done the mod on 2 different mounts. One is on my 10.5" AR and the other is on my 18" AR. The can is rock solid on both mounts, even after fireing. Sand or grind is not a good term for this mod. Polish is a better term. DO NOT use any kind of power tool. Use some 320 and 400 grit wet dry sand ...

Re: What twist for 10.5 AR15 barrel suppressed
1:9 and 1:8 will work, but you asked for the "best" option... 1:7 will let you shoot any round. If you go with 1:9 and for what ever reason you get 69 or 77gr rounds, you risk a baffle strike. The heaver rounds are better out of a short barrel anyway. If you can get a 1:7 twist, I think you are fool...

1:7. Because it will stablize from 55gr to 77gr.

Food should be most important. The stores only have about 3 days worth, and that will be gone in a matter of hours if a major "event" happens. Bullets are a must, but you can't eat them. I am getting a bad feeling that makes me think I need to stock up on BOTH...

I just got back from there. I have been vacationing in OC for about 15 years, and this past one will most likely be our last. That place is going down hill FAST. The type of people we have been seeing are less than ideal... It is just not fun anymore. My 870 always goes with me. We never had a probl...

I also missed getting an SD just before it was discontinued. I think it was dropped because it was a better value and quieter than the N6.

Re: 308 silencer
If you want to stick with AAC, the SDN-6 should be a fantastic all around can including for a 5.56 AR. The thread on cans are supposed to be better for accuracy, and the Cyclone will be quieter than the N6. I was gong to go with an N6 for my Blackout, but they are impossible to get ahold of. I ended...

I NEVER sneak. I proudly show off my new toys. IF you have to hide things form your wife it will come back to bite you in the ass. This... It would be easy for me though. I had my carry gun and another hand gun out one time. My wife says when did you get that one. I had it before we were married an...

Re: Threading problem w/ Spectre and 17
Tolerance stacking. The threads on the barrel are probably on the high side of spec, and the threads on the mount may be a bit on the small side. Chasing the barrel may work, but I would have the smith who did the thread job look at it.
