Re: After 18 months, Tornado Tech finishes my guns. :D
I just dropped a gun off on Friday, I don't care how long it takes as I know it will be done right. I plan on continuing to support Tornado as my shop of choice as his work is top notch.

I love the quality on my Ruger 77/22's and 96/22's. I haven't been tempted to swap to another gun yet.

I have one and love it. Mine was threaded by Tornado Tech and is very fun to shoot. If you're looking for one ready to go, contact Brian at RapidFire Arms http://www.rapidfirearms.us/ He has one in his display case that is threaded by Tornado as well. Unsure of price, but shoot him a call and see wh...

It's been in the works for a few years. They were announced in Germany long ago before they were re-released back in the US. As far as I am aware, SHOT11 was the debut for the re-release in the US.
I have one on order.

For a TRUE co-witness with the LAGE M11/9 check out the Trijicon MS03 and the ADM MRD Mount. I have one and it's PERFECT.

Re: Still waiting for a dealer to dealer transfer from late
Have your dealer call to check the status. I've had some that were approved for a few weeks/month before I realized they were still here. Once I called, the examiner faxed me the approved F3 the same day and I was able to ship to the customers dealer. Things like this happen alot. I've had MANY miss...

Are you SURE that was 40 rounds?
Mag was a 40rnd mag, I loaded it until full.
Perhaps it just got tight in the middle and I didn't force it, but I haven't had any issues with it.

Re: Anyone have exp. with M-11
I have 2 86 SWD M11/9's. Nothing wrong with either of them, both work flawlessly and I've put alot of rounds downrange with them. Granted, the Earlier serial number from 86 DOES look nicer on the welds, and does have subtle differences. The Later model is crude overall, but is my go-to MG when letti...

Re: Red dot sight for FNP-45 Tactical
Have you tried the J-Point?
They are extremely light, probably not super durable, but stats say they can withstand some serious shock.
The CDNN/SWFA deal for the MS03 8moa Trijicon Red Dot is the same as the J-Point apparently.

Re: Red dot sight for FNP-45 Tactical
I'm only seeing the trijicon for $239, am I missing something? Mind posting a link, or is it not listed online (magazine only?). There is no $150 RMR. He was incorrect. If you re-read my post, I included model numbers, and didn't say anything about the RMR. Check pages 106-107 for the "MS" Series f...

I also have an Extended P9S from TT.
Perfect in my eyes and zero problems from day 1.
If I didn't already have a Threaded P250, I would have no problem sending him one to extend and thread. I trust his work.

If you've got the cash, the Tactical Solutions kit is the best kit I've ever seen.
They are expensive, but built like tanks, and extremely accurate.

They generally are hard to find in stock, and when they are in stock, they are normally in very small quantities with long delays in restocking. I paid full retail for my personal one as every distributor was sold out when I was looking. (and at the time I was looking, it was a 3 month search) I bro...
