Re: AWSOME deal on poly lower.

timely thread, was just looking at new frontier polymer lowers. they're offering a complete assembled polymer lower for $109. http://newfrontierarmory.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=245_285&products_id=34089 apparently includes a polymer fire control group - not so sure how that...

proof of ownership requirements ?

I had a sako quad cut to 16 inches and threaded. With my Spectre it sounds great! No need for ear plugs, but sonic crack off course. Take the can off and it rang my ears bad! So if you're dead set on 22 mag, you will notice a big difference... But don't expect a quiet shot that your neighbors won't ...

75 for Nfa transfers is pretty cheap the local guy I use to use before I got my licence was hitting me at 150 each . Do you have to put your hands up? Cause $150 is robbery. $75 is ridiculous. not everyone is as cool as you! I've never minded the drive to come see you! let me know if you ever decid...

Re: WTF? gemtech - SWR- Thompson machine --- adapters the sa

don't give me threats , give me specs!!!! Are these different thread pitch? If so what are they? And if that's the case since the adapters have 2 sets of thread, you're voiding warranty the second you thread it into anything, as you can't prove that the barrel threads are within specs either! Re: Advantage Arms .22lr conversion for Glock 19

I had a AA kit on my glock 17 and it was neither accurate nor reliable. It didnt like subs at all and only worked 100% with hyper velocity. Sold it! I use a s&W m&p 22lr and it's really accurate and runs like a sewing machine with bulk pack. The gun feels just like the 9mm. I have others but that's ...

Re: WTF? gemtech - SWR- Thompson machine --- adapters the sa

ok, so I just got my ISIS, and decided I wanted to use it on my 300 BLK , so I ordered the 5/8x24 fixed adapter.(it came with a 1/2x28) I already have a SWR trident with a 5/8x24 mount , a 1/2x28 , a booster and a 3 lug. So the other night , I just grabbed the adapters and tried them all on the ISI...

Ok, so I miked the od of the threads on both adapters and they are identical. I've checked the play when not threaded all the way, and they are also the same. And when they are locked tight they feel the same. So I'm not getting what's so different about them. Can someone provide the data on the" sp...

I got mine for $1500 from a normally-over-priced shop when they were going for $1800 on Gunbroker. I just walked in and was surprised that they had one. that is surprising ! I only saw one at a gun show here last year and the guy wanted $2100 and would not even let me pick it up from the table... I...

Re: Dry Film Lubes

the pistol you're carrying may have a direct impact on how much oil needs to be on the gun , and therefore how much accumulates on it. I'm biased toward glocks due to no external safety or buttons and levers sticking out that can get gummed up .. they run great dry , with just one drop on the 4 meta...

Re: Which would have harder recoil?

felt recoil.. i'd say 9mm hands down ! this is just my opinion , so don't go all Einstein on me to prove me wrong . but I have a 12.5" PWS with AAC , and a 5" 9mm with Trident. between being blow back and a heavier bolt the mass of the parts in motion makes it feel like it has more recoil to me . it...
