DANGIT...was on the verge of getting a SF Mini Monster. A Saker-SF mount would have really tipped the scale in SF's favor...DANGIT.

Any new info on a Surefire mount for the Saker? I want to get one of the SF Mini cans and it would seal the deal on the SF Mini if I can use the Saker on the SF mounts....otherwise I might have to go the AAC Mini-4 route.

Cool thing about the Saker is that it DOES support 51T AAC mounts. Either the AAC 51T mount or the Trifecta mount is included with the Saker.

Yes, the Saker is about 0.42oz heavier and 0.133" longer than the M42000.

I also have a 762SD and I was also looking at a 223/556 can. I never considered the M42000, but I too was looking at the Mini primarily due to its size and how good it looked on a rife. But, I decided to get a Saker because of all the mounting options(Trifecta, 51T, thread on). I still might get the...

Get one that has the ability to set a long cleaning cycle. The Harbor Freight model looks like has a max cleaning cycle of about 480 sec(8 mins). Its a pain in the butt to keep on turning the thing on every 8 mins. For a little more, the Hornady 2L has a timer from 1-30 mins.

So what will have to happen before 9 December for this thing to go away? Or is it a done deal? This came down from on high with the help of the NFATCA providing all the ammo to support it. It won't go away, the MOST we can hope for is for no CLEO signoff but notification......don't see that change ...
