Re: What kind of gun is this?

By no means can I claim confirm on this, but it looks to be a Remington 11-87. Definitely a semi-automatic 12ga. Look at the way the agent racks the bolt back and the obvious shell size. It also looks to have a slimmer profile than a Benelli.

Hush is like our Drudge. He was offline for a few days around Christmas and there was very little activity in most of the forums. I can see how it is a pain if you look for new posts, but I usually start out on the moderation pages so I rarely see it,. I think that the news feed is an excellent sou...

Re: NRA alert: Feinstein's gun ban bill likely for 01/22/201

On Dec. 17th, Feinstein said, "I have been working with my staff for over a year on this legislation" and "It will be carefully focused." Indicating the depth of her research on the issue, she said on Dec. 21st that she had personally looked at pictures of guns in 1993, and again in 2012. She's a ca...

Re: WHOLLY CRAP prices are going on on GB

I just watched a CZ 527 bolt gun, chambered in 7.62x39 sell for $1500 via buy it now. It's retail is around $700! I'm hoping it was an in store sale or something, because that's ludicrous.

snapshot Man, I totally agree with you. Vote out every fucker that voted for this POS "Fiscal Cliff" bill. Absolutely! But if elections aren't held till 2014, what are we gonna do about the upcoming gun ban legislation that's going to be introduced on Jan 22 2013? I am open to any suggestions. I ju...

Re: Piers Morgan:Bible and the U.S. Constitution are "inhere

My only problem with the Brits has to do with Northern Ireland. Other than that, I have no feelings one way or another. And really, Northern Ireland has to deal with the British Government, not the British people per se. +1 on that. The British used loyalist infiltration to do most of their dirty w...

Re: Boston Mayor Says VP ‘Guaranteed’ Him Obama Will Pass Ma

A major gun ban will lead to a major push back from 2nd amendment supporters. Kind of in the tone of the civil war. That's true, and I've had it with these psychos. They live in their own cloud nine utopias and are trying to impose their own daydream version of reality onto the rest of us. This is ...

Re: Do You Have a Chest Rig?

That's a total civi perspective. Light sticks? Really? The sticks these guys see on the web are usually IR and not visible to the naked eye. If you need a chest rig for self-defense, you need more range time. On the other hand, offensive action requires a chest rig, but def not light sticks unless y...

That's interesting. Still, gold is too expensive to be used in most transactions. Now if they do this with silver they're really on to something. It's the Swiss, we're talking about over achievers anonymous here. But I think you might be onto something with silver cards. Probably all they'd extend ...

Best Bond movie?

I just watched "Skyfall" (our local theater is...well, local). Not too bad, not great. I liked the attempt at grit, but I think it fell short. The estate scene was OK, and I think Javier Bardem was right up there with Goldfinger. Personal favorite: "The Living Daylights". WA2000 w/AP rds = 8) So...w...

That's awesome:

1. Your son works.
2. He's politically aware.
3. He talks to you.

It's sad how rare this has become in modern society.

Re: High Capacity, Standard Capacity, Or Reduced Capacity

I don't like how a GLOCK 17 ... 17+1 capacity... is called "high-capacity". The label of "high-capacity" is arbitrarily made-up based on nothing. "Standard Capacity" is "Standard". If someone was trying to make the case that the 30-round mags for GLOCKs are high-capacity, I'd go with that based on ...

I think a sensible solution is to overwhelm our representatives with healthy competition...i.e. better candidates. Letter writing is for the birds. Oh, I agree that they all need replaced. I just think that overwhelming them right now with letters, emails, and phone calls could produce some results...
